Six more trips and then I am done with Disney

Sorry for the rant, but Disney seems to be changing. That is why we have decided that after six or more trips in the near future, we will be calling it quits on WDW.

For starters, Disney seems to focus on profit. That is no way to run a business.
What would Walt say if he found out the parks were charging money to ride different rides?

Second, I miss the old Epcot. Back in my day, you could see singing fruits and vegetables perform in a daily animatronic show in The Land. You could watch Michael Jackson dance around in a space suit and defeat evil through song in the Imagination pavilion. You could learn about Norway through trolls sending you over a waterfall, not some make believe fairy tale. Nowadays, things have just gotten childish.

Sorry again for sounding negative. We have had many fun memories in the past at WDW, but things have changed, and not for the better. We will be sticking it to Chapek soon by visiting Disneyland or some overseas Disney parks rather than continuing to feed his greed.

Thanks for listening.

You are not negative! 6 more trips means you know you are sticking with Disney!
Side note - I think it's FANTASTIC you can even know/plan you are going to disney 6 times in the future!
I am just trying to get to Friday...

I admire your stance but also wonder why you are returning 6 more times? Also if you visit Disneyland instead aren't you still giving Disney your money regardless? Again you're entitled to do what you're doing and more power to you. It's just a bit confusing that you seem to feel that what you're doing is showing Disney your unhappiness in some way yet going 6 more times and then paying to visit other Disney parks instead isn't really punishing Disney? Perhaps if you email Disney with your reasons then they may be more aware of your protest.

This post got me and I actually thought it was real and replied :)

I am guessing, the OP is saying, "No matter what the Disney parks do, or don't do, whatever TWDC political stance is, whatever their sponsors say etc., folks will just keep coming"

After all, we go to the theme parks to take out minds off of whatever the Disney parks do, or don't do, whatever TWDC political stance is, whatever their sponsors say etc. :)

Yeah, Dis has changed. Ive had it too... I've reached my limit of how much I can take. I'm letting you know that I'm drawing a red line... I'm only going to be returning for 60 or more trips before I call it quits. They cant change my mind or persuade me to reconsider. You have to at some point stand firm.

Probably the dumbest thing I have ever heard six more trips meaning I will only spend thousands of dollars Six more times before I quit That’s like saying I’m an alcoholic and I’m only gonna drink six more months before I quit

Katiebug talked to Sam (since he’s not doing anything), and they figured this would be a great April Fools gag…too bad it was posted March 23rd…
