Simpsons land?

Universal's contract for the Simpsons ends in 2028. It seems Disney is putting out surveys for including the Simpsons in Disney parks. Should there be a Simpsons land at DCA or (gasp!) Disneyland?

Give the subs a Simpsons paint job.

Theme it after that episode where they found a Krusty Burger on an oil barge. Sorry it’s been like 20 years, my recollection is rusty but that stood out.

They should just hide Simpson’s characters throughout Small World. Like the Marvel one in Tokyo.

It’s perfect synergy, employing all levels of IP integration, and ensuring a fun and exciting new activation for all guests. Could sell a sticker sheet to fill in as you ride, and you get a special prize at the end.

An actual Simpson's Land would be a little too on-the-nose.

This is the only subtly tasteful option:

I prefer the Simpsons for WDW since WDW has the blessing of size.
If it has to come to California, then I like OG55's idea of doing a Simpsons Movie Ride in Hollywood land.

Isn't the general consensus that the Simpsons stopped being consistently good after like season 10? Which was like 25 years ago?

I feel like the Simpsons relevance in the public eye isn't what it used to be. It's still a good property- but I don't think building a land that should last decades is the right play.

And any Simpsons presence should only be in DCA.

I loved the Simpsons as a kid. I can remember watching the first season or two as an 8 year old and anticipating 8pm on Sundays. I kind of stopped caring about them in the mid to late 90s as I entered my teenage years. Loved the arcade game from the 90s too. That, Street Fighter 2 and TMNT is peak arcade era for me.

Agree any Simpsons presence (which is hopefully no more than a meet n greet, if that) should be at DCA.

Simpsons at DHS is fine. I guessssss if you want to make like a singular ride at DCA that has the facade of the Simpsons home, that could represent California suburbia which currently doesn't have representation. But I'm iffy on that.

I see no one likes my idea. But I think I can sell you on it! The prize for completing your scavenger hunt will be a verified and authentic piece of Disneyland grass, before it was replaced with the fake stuff. Kinda like the MSEP lightbulbs.

They could change the Incredicoaster for the Simpsons coaster and replace Jack Jack on a stick with Maggie on a stick.

Better yet, give us Krustyland with all the same rides from the Universal Simpsons Ride. I want to ride Dinosaurs of the Caribbean and Happy Little Elves in Pandaland and Krusty's Wet & Smoky Stunt Show..

I know many are tired of “What would Walt think/do…???!!!” but, I’m pretty sure he’d crap his pants over this, and I’d join him.

Does the blessing of size matter when they constantly replace instead of add?
Let DHS have the Simpsons. I really don't want it within steps of Disneyland. 🥴 Maybe if they build a third park in the Toy Story lot or if the Angels move out and Disney buys that land it would be more palatable.

Another option is to let them test it out on the cruise ships. A Moe's sports bar or Krusty Burger spot would be good.
