It mocks a few other disney things as well. The one I liked the most was "Hall of the Secretaries of the Interior"

That made me laugh, especially that the wait was 0:00 minutes :) Anyway, I rode it today, and i'll be honest, I wasn't enthralled with it. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't phenominal either. I usually have a certain amount of time that i'll wait for every ride (i.e. I won't wait more than 10 minutes for Dr. Doom, etc.) and I wouldn't wait more than 30 minutes for the Simpsons.

The ride is spectacular! I would assume those Disney people wont be big fans but the ride is great and everyone seems to really like when they are getting off!

This ride was hilarious. I loved the BTTF references and the "subtle" sign towards the end that said Send money to Universal Studios. Definitely a great ride. I don't understand the Universal hate from everyone; I don't even compare it to Disney. To me they're both completely different and have their strengths and weaknesses. I still think HHN is superior to any hard ticket Disney event.

You know I have never understood how some people can come down here and only go to Disney. I have AP's to WDW, Uni, and Busch(SeaWorld, Aquatica and BGT) and there are things I like about all of them. Universal has taken a ride that was outdated and updated it. I hate to say it but this makeover is better than any makeover(using existing building) WDI has done lately at WDW. They have created a simulator that is thrilling, funny and has so much going on, in the Q, preshow's and ride film itself it will take multiple rides to get it all in. I have been a fan of The Simpson's since the beginning and loved it but I have ridden with more casual fans and they thought the ride was great and wanted to get on again. There are some things that Universal does well and this is a great addition. It is going to be pretty cool to live in Central Florida the next few years because all the parks are going to be doing some amazing stuff.

I rode it today. 90 minute wait but it was good ride. Not great but good. The ride was a perfect replacement for BTTF. I did enjoy BTTF The ride more though. All in all The simpsons ride is fun and I'll make sure to ride it almost every visit.

I rode it last Monday and thought it was phenomenal. Its the best ride that Universal has put in in a long time. I'm not sure if its better than the Mummy, but its certainly as good as the mummy. It may be better in that there wasn't one time that I ever felt bored from the time I saw the facade to the time I exited the ride. The mummy has me very bored while I'm in the queue.

I went to Universal today for the first time in probably 9 years.

Crowds were basically non-existent. Simpsons Ride had only a 15 minute wait (seemed a bit longer though) and I thought it was great. Much better than I anticipated.

Almost everything had between 10 and 30 minute wait times.

Yes, yesterday was very slow, infact it was the slowest the simpsons ride has been since it opened. It did however get up to a 45 min wait at one point.

I went yesterday (Tues) and it also appeared that both the north and south domes were being used for the Simpsons. That surely cut down the wait.

Went on it twice, loved it. It is a good replacement, even though I will miss BttF.

The longest wait I had was about 10 minutes.
I didn't even get to see much at all of the queue video.

Rode it yesterday.
Hated it. Seriously.

To me, it had no heart and no story. Blah blah...Bob takes over park to kill Simpsons blah blah blah. The whole film is just one long series of disjointed excuses to put the simulator through a maneuver.

Not only would I not wait 10 min to ride it again, I refused the offer of a ride op to re-ride immediately. No thanks. I'm done with this one. Why waste all that time when I could be across the park single-riding Mummy.

I'm starting to miss Back to the Future....

You're the only voice I've heard say they hated this ride. I rode it and found it to be one of the best rides in the park (right up there with the Mummy). It wasn't perfect but I laughed from the time I walked up to the ride to the time I exited. I don't know how they could have done it any better with what they had to work with. Its definitely miles better than Toy Story Mania.

I have a feeling that if you are a die-hard Simpson's fan you will like it, but if not a Simpson's fan you might feel like Lee.

Um... don't be surprised by this sentiment Lee... several people I know of have been very disappointed with TSM.

Oh, but I am surprised...and dismayed...

TSM is a fantastic, re-ridable, cutting edge, very entertaining ride in a beautiful setting. It exceeded my expectations in every way.
Simpsons is...ugh...not even as good as the ride it replaced. Stitch syndrome, I guess you could say.
Very sad.

At Aquatica today, I heard about four people talking about how much they liked it and how it was "a good as Back to the Future."

And this is at a completely different park.

Eh...maybe it's just me...
After all, I still hold a grudge for them replacing one of the all time great studio-park atractions, Alfred Hitchcock and the Art of Making Movies, with an ordinary 3-d movie...
