there is a petition being signed saying eisner should not remake pinnichio, the classic movie. and not just digitally enhance it but entirely re-do it. a whole new pinnochio movie. so if you dont think this is right, and they should leave the original. go to this site and sign the petition

Don't get me wrong, I do not think a CGI remake of any of the Classics would be worthwhile (the Originals stand up on their own), but where does it say that the Originals would be replaced by the new CGI ones?

I agree. No classic really needs a remake. Perhaps a touch-up but no remake.
