Sigh. Leave for WDW in 2 days

and just found out one of my dogs has cancer. Lymphoma. I feel bad leaving her, though I know my parents will take good care of her. Treatment starts next week. Guess after pigging out on Free Dining I will be eating a lot of egg salad sandwiches and peanut butter.

Sorry about that. Is there a treatment? At least you are leaving her with family and not in a kennel.

They can do what they cal protocals. The cheaper one is a 3 week rotation: first week $110, second and third weeks $45 each, and that continues for 7 months. That has an 80% success rate. That involves chemo pills, and they will start it Monday. They are waiting to get the diagnosis confirmed by an outside lab, as they are being careful and want to be sure. They like to do treatments on Monday, so that if there is a bad reaction to the meds you are not stuck going to the emergency vet.
