I thought siemens sold furniture?

Well anyway, does this mean we are going to be seeing a totally new ride system at space ship earth?
Well here's an interesting idea, how bout a tron cycle type ride that focuses on computers, communication and the internet.

''end of line_"

here's the correct link: .http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tron_(movie) And I believe he's talking about Disney's announcement to make a new Tron movie.

I highly, highly doubt that disney is going to make any ride related to tron. It's just not poplular, many people wouldn't have the faintest idea what it was.

As for SSE, if siemens or anyone for that matter ends up sponsoring the ride, it's more likely we'll see a rehab / major ending update before we see anything new.

No, he was talking about a Tron ride.

I meant I believe that he's basing his "Tron's making a comeback" theory on the wiki saying Disney announced a new movie.

Sorry for the confusion.

In use, but not doing much. Energy just browns-out versus black-out when they blow a breaker by trying to bring a new ride online ;)

LOL I just realized it's Siemens....not Simmons. For those of you who are not familiar, Simmons makes spring matresses lol. I was wondering if they were going to turn SSE into a ride about a perfect nights sleep! :hammer:

D'oh!

Dont they have those cute little sheep? Or is that Serta?

I'd just like to be able to buy cute sheep from a kiosk under SSE.

Seamans (spelled differently than the electronics company) is a furniture store in the Northeast which is owned by Levitz, but were all recently closed due to Levitz filing for chapter 11.

Siemens used to have a joint venture with Corning. They employed MANY people around here making fiber optic cable. The company was called Siecor. The company I used to work for was a very large vendor for Siecor. I knew more about FO cable than I ever wanted to know. (My company was also a big vendor for Lucent/ATT.)

I think Siemens is a perfect fit with SSE.

Siemens also has a whole division called Siemens Building Technologies. In fact, they're working for me right now on a large hospital addition I'm managing. They install systems like Temperature Control, Building Security, Infant Security, Identification Systems, Fire Alarm Systems and much more.

...circuit breakers and panels, too.

(wonders how long before this whole thread goes *way* down the wrong road) :zipit:

Isn't Siemens the one who has that commercial that goes "spin, spin, spin the globe" ??

I just pray that they don't put that song in SSE as I find it QUITE annoying...
