Sick at the World

So I'm currently sitting at Buena Vista Urgent Care. I'm pretty sure Raglan Road poisoned me last night. Since I woke up I've been unable to make it 10 feet without sweating through my clothes and feeling the need to vomit (but not doing it). Anyway, I'm here now begging for drugs. Anyone else been sick at Disney? I never realized this could happen!

Not that sick! But I definitely had too much candy after a MNSSHP one night... let's just say I didn't sleep much that night and I don't have that trick or treat bag anymore...

My best friend also gets sick (either stomach or a cold) every time we go. I think he just gets so excited before we go that his body gets run down super quick.

I hope the meds help and you can enjoy the parks a little!

I was there last month. I had some funky upper respiratory thing with a fever. I felt so badly, I had to cancel dinner at BoG.

I hope you feel better. You might have something like Norovirus, instead of food poisoning. Either, drink lots of fluid and just take it easy.

Yep, it certainly isn't how I'd planned to spend my vacation! We have 'Ohana ADRs tonight that DH might be going alone. And we have tickets to a dessert party for tomorrow night! Oh no!!!

Yes I did. Something I ate the night before ( at Cracker Barrel) before we got there, and well, I had intense GI distress in our room at Pop Century. That whole day I was very glad that MK keep their restrooms fully stocked and clean and no lines for the women's room. I got really sick after going backwards in Expedition Everest, I was sort of you know "getting sick" for a few hours. No CM ever noticed or asked if I needed help or even gave me a place to just sit somewhere inside out of the heat. I bought some lemon ices and sat against a building to stop the spinning and the motion sickness. But no help from anyone.I hope you feel better. Getting sick at Disney is no fun

That's terrible! You know they have first aid in all the parks!

One time during ESPN the Weekend. Some college buddies and I were having fun the the area you could try everything. Then all of a sudden I started seating bullets and got cramps. I went back to the hotel used the bathroom a few hundred times took a 4 hr nap and then I was fine.

I highly doubt it, unfortunately. DH plans to hit DHS while I'm resting in the room unless they give me magic drugs that cure me. But it is what it is. All I can do is roll with it. I felt bad for the bell man today! We were moving to a new hotel and I called for help getting one bag down cause I couldn't carry it and DH had gone to check us in at OKW and was meeting me at the door. The poor bell man thought I was gonna puke on him...

I'm notorious for getting sick in Disney, but haven't needed to go to urgent care. I'm so sorry to hear that you're going through that on vacation!

I had a viral infection a few years ago that kept me in my room for 3 days. The year before that I had laryngitis, and had no voice for most of the trip. DH had to even order for me in restaurants! It's no fun, I hope you're feeling better quickly!

Both the kid and I got sick on the last trip. Cost us nearly two days and we ended up missing a few ADRs and La Nouba.

Thankfully we were there for 12 (at Disney, 15 total for the trip), so it's not like it put a serious cramp on the trip...

Well...come to think of it...cramps were involved. So...yeah. I'm gonna leave it with that.

I had the Beef Murray which is what I got last time I was there. I didn't have problems then! I am just miserable today! And it's only a 3 day trip so I'm hoping I'll be okay by tomorrow since its our last day and the dessert party!

Yes I got sick in December 2012 (I think it came from me sitting by a little boy that kept sneezing while I was waiting for the afternoon MK parade). I think it was a bad cold because I got cold really easily, I wouldn't eat, and I kept sneezing and coughing. I had to miss half of a day at Epcot so I didn't get to ride my favorite Epcot rides and I had to miss Illuminations which made me really sad. Then I had to miss a day at DHS, but I came to eat at Sci-fi since that's one of my favorite restaurants. It was bad. It was my first time to get sick at WDW.
