Shuttle Night Launch - Aug09

Saw it by a complete fluke from my room. It really lightened-up my last night there.

I was at Kennedy Space Center for the launch of Discovery, STS-120, on October 23, 2007. It was beautiful. One of the most incredible things I had ever seen. Then I got to crawl around Discovery in her processing facility and tour the launch pad (LC 39B) holding Endeavour in October 2008. Also incredible.

I saw it from behind Innoventions East next to the entrance of UoE.

When we were in WDW in july. We saw Atlantis going up. It was awesome. I enjoyed that part of the trip

Saw it very clearly from the balcony of our suite in the new Contemporary Tower. For once it was better to have a room facing Bay Lake than the Magic Kingdom.

Well, at least we could see Sea World.
