Shrek 4D finally earmarked for closure

Villain Con (Minions) ride to replace Shrek 4-D (rumor)
According to Alicia Stella's newest video and the Universal forums A Villain Con ride is replacing Shrek not Secret life of Pets. The ride would be trackless and could be similar to toy story mania. What do you guys think?
I never rode the Hitchcock ride. I think we only visited Universal once at that time when it was open. I had no problem with Shrek because I loved the initial movie. Never saw another one after that. I liked the tongue in cheek humor and the putzy effects (3D, bouncing seats, squirting water, 4 D stuff). I guess all things grow old and fresh ideas need to develop.
