Shouldn't Premium Passholders Should Get More Perks?

I think we should get one free night at any resort and free entry to either the Halloween party or the Christmas party.

And discounts at ALL restaurants, not just a few!

Am I being greedy? LOL

No
Maybe...

You already get unlimited visits to water parks, disney quest, and green fees for golf right?

You already bought the pass which enables a single day admission to become incredibly cheap. The perks are to entice you to make the purchase, they are not a reward for spending more than others since in all likelihood you will spend significantly less than others.

Stand by for the 'guests at deluxe resorts should get .........' or the 'I've spent $10k on my trip and should get ........'

Can I counter with how I've booked a moderate that doesn't have a restaurant of it's own and should therefore be offered free dining for the duration of my trip, oh wait ..... :animwink:

More discounts yes, because discounts encourage guests to spend money where they may not normally spend it.

No way to free MVMCP or MNSSHP tickets. That would be a logicstical nightmare since those are limited attendence events. It would cut into the number of paying guests that could attend and without those paying guests it sort of defeats the purpose of these events.

This reminds me of the scene from Monty Pythons "The Meaning of Life" - you know the scene, where the fat greedy diner is being encouraged to eat more and more by the waiter (played by John Cleese)

See the similarity ??

Some people are never satisfied with what they get and believe they are entitled to more.

To the OP - what next - free shares in the company, free entry to any Disney park on any day (provided there is a "y" in the spelling of that particular day).

Don't be so bl**dy greedy

Yes you are greedy and really ticking me off. How much do you pay for your premium pass?
Probably not as much as most of us spend for tickets during a one week stay. You state you already get some restaurant discounts, but you want more. Yes, you are greedy, and it really isn't a laughing matter.

If you think that she's paying less for a premium pass than you are for your one week stay, why aren't you buying a premium pass?

If your argument is true, then you are stupid.

We used to get a lot more as passholders in general. I don't know that I would expect a free night as a resort or anything, but I am all about more perks and discounts.

I mean obviously there does need to be a certain level of perks for passholders to make buying the pass attractive in the first place. People aren't going to spring for something labeled premium if they don't feel they're getting more for that extra money.

the problem here is that the perks get fewer every year. Disneyland has a much larger AP basis and a regular AP gets you a 10% discount of any purchase anywhere in the resort...be it, food, tours, merchandise, drinks. Not sure what the discount on a Premium Pass is.

WDW AP holders get discounts at SOME sit down restaurants during lunch time, and we used to get atleast one quick service restaurant per park but I don't think that's true anymore either.

And a 10% or 20% discount does make me spend much more money than if I had no discount. It's a pretty well established marketing sales tactic.
