Should the South American Tour Groups Be Allowed Through the Fastpass Line?

I am in no way criticizing these tour groups who are having fun at the happiest place on earth. But when 200 - 300 of these kids go through the fastpass line with there tickets, it clogs the line so bad that fastpass itself has turned into a half hour wait. This shouldnt be since Disney guarentees a wait time of no more than 10 minutes, in order to honor guests who have dining or other reservations they need to attend to.

Technically, if they were all able to get a Fastpass at the same time, then it really shouldn't clog the lines that much. Personally, though, if they got in line in front of me, I'd go ride something else, and then come back to that attraction. That would help keep it the happiest place on earth for me.:)

Of course they should be allowed to use the fastpass option just like any other guest in the park. As long as their fastpass is after the first time, they certainly should be allowed in the fastpass line. Not to mention, Disney does not guarentee a minimum of a 10 minute wait because if they have they apparently have never seen the TT, PP, and Winnie the Pooh FP lines, which are constantly longer than 10 minutes.

This is what is said on the Disney website about FPs:
"Disney's FASTPASS® service is sure to help you get the most enjoyment out of your day at the Walt Disney World® Resort! This free Guest Service saves your place in line, allowing you to venture off and experience more of the wonders of Walt Disney World — before returning to board your attraction with a minimal wait."

Unless they had some kind of special fast pass given to them (which I would not be for) but regular fast pass are for everyone.

Look on the bright side. If you see 200-300 South Americans in line for a ride, that means there are 200-300 fewer South Americans everywhere else in the park.

What I don't like is when you have a couple of members of the party in front of you on line and suddenly a dozen of them "catch up" with their friends. You've gone from 3rd in line to 16th....that's not right and if you say something, a little something called a lack of English gets in the way :(

As for Fastpass, as long as they don't push ahead in line, I don't have a problem....

Should we limit FP to only Cambodians or Angolians or Irish?

How about skipping ahead to the next ride and FP it then come back to that one. Besides, shouldn't we treat guests to our country with respect and honor them above ourselves? We're blessed ALL the time, they can only enjoy our freedom while on vacation.

"Note to all guests: If you are traveling in a group larger than 10, and are of South American origin (Chilean, Brazilian, Colombian, etc.), you can't use Fastpass."

I think there's a word for it, and I think it's discrimination. A paying guest, is a paying guest, and there is no reason to single out that group.

Perhaps a better question should be: Should large tour groups be allowed to use the fastpass line? It sounds much less offensive, and would be better to discuss.

You would come across a lot less offensive if you hadn't said "South American Tour Groups". That could be interpreted as rather racist. Why not, "Should large tour groups"?

In either case, you'd still be wrong; if anyone has a FP, they should be able to use it.

Oh, if the question is "Should large tour groups?..." The answer is...yup. Everyone that paid to get in.

In theory it's easy to say all guests should have the same rights, etc. and I also believe they should.... but speaking from the perspective on the other side of counter the tour groups from South America are for the vast majority, loud, rude and pushy, and have no consideration for the other guests and their Disney experience...... Why must they all move groups of 20 -100 in size? They're in a DISNEY PARK, could they not just safely navigate the parks on their own or in smaller groups, rather than moving all in one giant organized fashion and creating traffic problems? Do they not know how to tell time and arrive at a central meeting place when it's time to leave? My point is not that they shouldnt' be allowed in the park, but moving as such a large group creates logistical issues that diminish many guest's disney experiences.

I know everybody is trying to generalize but this South American groups (is just one country that not even speak spanish (Upps i didnt say country neither i am agaisnt them.) But when you know that one of this groups was banned from the Parks and from the resorts (they were staying on a resort and were taken to the airport) is not easy to manage.

I don't mind this big groups but when a small group in a line become 20 and then 100 is not fair.

This I will agree with. We have had some very bad Experiences with these groups.

I dont have a problem with large groups using fastpass because I can just go some place else and come back a bit later. We now avoid the tour groups like the plague.
