It sounds crazy, but really stop to think about it. Those three creative minds are behind more product being added to the parks in modern era than anyone else.

Sure there are exceptions like MMRR, which is based on characters brought to life by Walt himself. Yet what about other recent adds or coming soons?

Guardians? Lee
SW:GE? Lucas
TSL, Rat? Lasseter
Pandora? Camer...ok, add James Cameron to the new statue lineup.

Walt may have started the Disney empire, but it's the minds of George, Stan, John, and James keeping the show running new & fresh today. Popular opinion? Most unlikely. Logical? Now that's the question...

And before any of you accuse this of being rubbish because I said George Lucas instead of JJ Abrams, I was referring to the creative minds behind the original product & characters being added to the parks today, not the people recycling what's already been created.

Yes
Who created the company/parks? I think you will find it all started with a mouse. The correct figures are displayed

But it was the other mouse, Oswald the one that Ub and Walt lost the rights to and Universal picked up that started things.

The IP gods appreciate your dedication to the cause...
Maybe they should rename the entire place while they are at it?

the better idea would be busts or stars for people important to disney, although that backfires if the real life person does something bad. Lassiter, michael jackson, johnny depp, and bill cosby being great examples. Which is why it is safer to use animated characters instead of real life people in attractions. Walt or Roy arent going to do anything at this point in there careers ;) to create controversy so their statues are safe. Statues to living people can be a bad thing especially now in the social media age.
So instead of a statue i can see busts or stars like hollywood. Wait.......

Absolutely not. They may have created things that Disney now is using to added to their park entertainment but that isnt enough to justify memorializing them with a statue prominently placed in the hub or anyplace else. Walt and Roy warrant having that honor exclusively. Honoring Lee and Lucas with recognition as legends for their contributions to Disney as others have been is enough recognition. Lasseter will probably be shunned for this honor despite the work he produced and contributed to Disney, forever being remembered for his harassment.
