Should the entrance sign, billboards, and traffic signs in Walt Disney World get a new design?

I'd like to see the signs get a facelift. Maybe a certain color background for each area of WDW. Blue signs for MK and MK resorts, red for DH and DH resorts, dark green for AK and AK resorts, and Yellow for EPCOT and EPCOT resorts. They could use Orange for DS.

While they're at it they could bring back the Center to EPCOT and bring back all of the original symbols for EPCOT areas.

Anyone know when and why did they remove the little peeping mickey from the road signs? I remember seeing them around 1994 the first year we went to mgm but that's the only time I actually remember seeing him. Kinda creepy though lol but can't think of why they'd remove them.
I remember them. It was really a magical touch to an otherwise boring thing.

The purple directional signs really scream 1990's. I love the 90's, but I would very much welcome a change. They've been transitioning the buses from their super-90's look to a more clean design, so I wouldn't be surprised if they tackle the traffic signs in the next 10 years or so.

I like the signage as well. Part of what conveys the magic is how different they are from the traditional green signs found on other major roadways. There are a few road signs that appear sun bleached and could use a fresh coat of paint. When my late wife and I traveled to Disney I would always say to her, "Welcome to Walt Disney World" whenever we approached those large arches.

Also important to note that by the time you've reached the arch, in most cases you've already driven a mile or two on Disney property.

The signs should stay as they are in my opinion.

They look smart, are different to the outside world, and are sufficient to serve the purpose of directing most guests with little issue.

If I was going to make a list of 100 things to change at Walt Disney World the road signage would not be on that list.

The huge cost involved in replacing the existing signage would not offer any significant improvement over what we have now.

There are just short of 200 miles of paved roads within WDW so consider the number of signs that would need to be changed!

People moan about the cost of MM+ being a waste of money so I dread to think what the reaction would be if it was announced that the road signs were all being replaced.

I love the signs, I even have a fridge magnet of 'Disney's Port Orleans Riverside next right' on my fridge!
I would be pretty upset if they got rid of those arches!! Always feels like "we made it now is the fun part!!!" and How/where did you get a magnet?! I want one for POFQ!!

Yeah, I love the signs. It means you are in the "Disney Bubble". While technically still in Florida, you've entered an area very separate. It's kind of like the Vatican, if the Vatican was more about making money and less about Jesus. Like a Vatican run by Jim and Tammy Faye Baker!

Found the magnet on Ebay, they have a lot of the Disney signs as magnets! Would buy them all if the postage wasn't so much to the UK!
