Should I go to MVMCP twice or is once enough?

I'm going to MVMCP in Nov. and I'm going to go the first day of the event (Nov. 8th) and was wondering 2 questions.

1. How busy will it be on the day of the event on Nov. 8th?

2. Will one day be enough to get photos of all the Disney characters in their Christmas outfits? Plus autographs of the ones that are rare?

I have read, read and read everything I can about the party. When we are going, apparently it will be dead. I really can't see the need to go twice. If you are worried about not meeting all the characters, do them first. I really can't picture paying for it twice. Especially considering that most rides you will be riding during normal park hours...either way, I can't wait to meet Scrooge!

Take into consideration how much time is spent waiting for the parade/fireworks (that is, of course, if you're like me and want a good view for them). I found that after the parade/fireworks and going on a few rides the party was nearly over! I would've liked to see more of the character offerings, luckily I caught Pooh and friends out by City Hall.

If you have the money and see the need, I say go for it.

We have gone to the party and honestly, we have no desire to go back to it. Was cute, we got to take some pics with characters (it was during our honeymoon that we went to the party) All in all, not really worth the extra expensive to see it more than 1 time. Have a good time.

You only need to do it once per trip. Its a busy night, but it's well worth it! Just go right to the castle and make sure you see the castle lighting show, then the big stage show. Make sure you wait till 2nd parade, do all the shows and meet and greets first. Then to end the night, soak in the Main St snowfall with a hot chocolate. We've went quite a few times in December. Its a Must Do in December. Worth every penny.

See the second parade, it's much less crowded. Visit some characters during the first parade.

But I agree with everyone else, once is enough. I went once last year and, IMO, it wasn't even worth that one trip. But I don't really enjoy meeting characters or parades, so really the only special thing for us was the fireworks, the snow on Main Street (pretty nifty) and the cookies and hot chocolate. Not worth the money. I'd rather have spent that time at the Osborne Lights again.

We've been twice but the only reason we went the second time the trip was a short one and we wanted to do all 4 parks so it is how we fit in the MK. I think once should be enough. As for the date we have seen or found that it is busier on the week end dates and slow on the weekday dates so you should be fine.

Once was too much for me! I thought the party was horrible. I was expecting the same kind of mood/atmosphere that you get from the Halloween Party (which we've been to 5 times over the past 2 years). But 90% of the offerings at the Christmas Party are available during the day during the Holiday period anyway.

Completely not worth it in my opnion.

My family attended the MVMCP Nov09 and for the cost was enough for us to do it 1 time. I want to say that for 3 of us it cost $186.00. The night we went it main St. was so packed that there was no exclusiveness to it. Ride waits where still over 30min waits. It was a great experiance but no rush to try it again.

Also I do not even remember seeing Characters to have pics with. The only Photo Pass we got was with the castle and that was a 40 min wait.

On another night we were in the AK and we had better luck getting pics with the characters in their holiday attire.

It really depends on how you plan on using your time. If you don't plan on doing any rides, then you most likely can do it all during one party. Some of the characters you may be able to find during regular hours, which would help even more. I would say the biggest line may end up being for Snow White & 7 Dwarfs if they are out since they are in high demand. Especially if you are going the first day, go, and see how much you get done. If you feel that you need a second party at that time, then buy the tickets.

Personally i think MVMVP is a one time a trip party but the Halloween party i can see doing that twice. On the other hand if you are like me and really value the MK at night hitting the party twice might be a real great idea.
