Nightmare to park at the moment. Probs wait about an hour just to get in the place which isn't worth it considering everything apart from certain areas is under construction.
I take it you ignored the suggestions to park across the street and attempted to find your own parking space?

What parts of Disney are NOT crowded in June? If we shouldn't go to DTD in June just based on crowd levels, why go to the parks at all that time of year?

I know the answer to this is to not go in June, but for those of us who can't go any other time of the year, this whole discussion almost doesn't make sense beyond the tips about taking the bus or being willing to park further away.

I was just about to post something similar.

Correctaundo! Check out the big brain on you!

I have no intention of crossing six lanes of traffic to go to DTD when there should be plenty of parking available for people who want to go.

Of course, I'm pretty sure that my preferred lot (Behind Cirque) is usually more than 50 ft away from where I usually go.

Blast! Crossing a street! Not when I'm on vacation! They need a rigshaw army there pronto!

Now if i had a college program kid pulling a rickshaw to take me from my automobile to DTD, thus me not walking a mile to get there.... I could get behind that.

Just don't expect to park in one of the old places on the Marketplace or right by Splitsville. Do yourself a favor, and follow the cast instructions for parking at Team Disney or Casting. It is a very short walk, and is much better than driving around looking for spaces for 30 minutes.

Parking in downtown St. Pete or Downtown Orlando is infinitely easier than parking at DTD.

Parking aside, traffic on Buena Vista is going to get worse this Summer before it gets better. Waiting an hour in a line of parked cars is not my idea of fun, when a variation on everything besides Cirque can be found elsewhere.
