I have never eated at any Table Service Disney Restaurant. I love Italian food and was wondering if I should eat there when I visit in May or Sept with my GF. Before they close.
I am a very picky eater.
Or should I save the money and eat at another place.

Alfredos is ok. That's the problem though, it's just ok. Hence it going away after august. There are SO MANY better places to grab a bite to eat...

I would go before they close if I had the chance, but the dining at WDW is a huge part of the experience for me. Because you say you've never eaten at any of the Table Service restaurants, I really am not sure if I would advise you to go to this one. That said, since you do like Italian food, I wouldn't say not to either! There are definitely places you could go where you could almost guarantee better food and service.

From what I've heard, their restraunt isn't that great and they're closing down the restraunt. There are many other restraunts that are much better. But again, it's your choice.

If you have never eaten at a table service in WDW, then I would not start with this one. We ate there last November and thought it was pretty good...
I would save the money and start with something else that has better food like Le Cellier.

I would certainly go to Alfredo's. One of the best spots at WDW, in my opinion. The lasagna is to die for.

I have never eaten at Alfredos but...
I find it VERY strange, that of all restaurants in the
World Showcase that they would actually close the Italian one!
I mean I thought Italian food is one that draws many many people.

If it is the food that wasn't very good or "so-so" to the point that it was not successful, why didn't they get new chefs or all new menus?

Do they plan on opening another restaurant in Italy?
