Should Haunted Mansion update effects?

I think they need to fine tune some of the old effects.
The sound system could really use an update. Maybe add some freaky whispering.

The scene where the spider webs are used to have more but were dropped for some reason. Right after the piano scene you go up a staircase and there used to be shadows in the fog. You can kinda still see the railing from the staircase but now they just leave you in the dark for about 10 seconds.
As for the sound system, yes it could stand to be updated. Not the soundtrack but the system itself. I have often been in some doombuggies where the sound was distorted or even too low to hear. That part could use a rehab but everything else would have to stay the same. I am a HUGE Mansion fan! Come see on my "attractiions" page!

I would actually like to see what Phantom Manor originally had, with Vincent Price narrating the room with the painting of Master Gracey and the stretching room and then going to another narrator for the ride itself...of course...we'd still use Mr. Frees. There would be a simple method of fixing the seance scene...spray paint the strings black. Some of the Audio-Animatronics could use some WD-40 and the music definitely needs to be redigitalized. I mean...the Tower of Terror recently had its sound redigitalized and it's only 8 years old...the Haunted Mansion is OVERLY due for this. The outside queue and the cemetery scene could use some fog effects...
