Should Disney have a "Comp" system?

I don't think that this is a good idea, as there is no way to know who is spending what. For example, two friends are sharing a room and are paying for their own trips - but only one credit card can be used to secure purchases. In this case, they would chose not to charge anything to their room and pay as they go on their own. This doesn't mean they are spending less than anyone else, just not charging to the room.

Unfortunately, those using cash or credit cards not tied to the room can't be tracked - unless they gave you some type of card to carry that could be swiped when you made purchases - but I don't see that happening when KTTW cards are so easy.

Hate to be the voice of dissent here, but you are basically saying that if you buy a lot of stuff, you should get more stuff? Cuz it's those that have a lot of stuff that need more of it...

I don't get it. And Vegas is a totally different beast. It probably would benefit me if they had it so don't take my voice of dissent as someone who wouldn't benefit from an idea slamming it, but still, I just don't see how its necessary and in this economy, I don't see any free stuff happening anyway.

I'd rather Disney spend their bucks improving their rides for everyone, or bringing the characters back to meals for everyone rather than giving trinkets to some individuals.

Disney giving things away?

[Bwaaa Haaah Haaaah Haaaaa - back on the floor rolling again.]

Amen....please, Disney's idea of a Christmas bonus for the employees is a Mickey Ornament for your tree..they give nothing away...All the people who think how wonderful it is that Disney provides "FREE" shuttly service from the airport, I have a beautiful Ocean Front home for sale in Arizona...PM me if interested.....

I just wish they would send those letters that have the special PIN's and discount codes to those who visit often, as a reward, rather than sending them only to people who have not visited WDW in a long time.

Reward loyal customers.
Tks.

:)
This is an excellent point! I have been lucky enough to get the magical PIN once, and we visit from NJ once or twice a year for the past 12 years! Where is the love, indeed!
