That isn't an official site. You can email wdw.mail.order@disneyworld.com and give them a description of anything you want from the WDW resort and they will get it to you. You pay the price in park plus a shipping charge, without the markup that those outside sites give you. I would use shoptheparks as a guide to see what you want and order direct from WDW mail order.

I didn't even know there was a "shop the park" online store. I've been to the Laughing place website. You are right....too expensive. Might as well wait 'til I get to the park and have fun shopping that way.

Shopthepark is another frontpage for laughingplace's store, I believe.

I have got to agree laughing place is way overpriced but to their credit you can easily find them. I can honestly say if it wasn't for this site I would have absolutely no knowledge of WDW mailorder.

If you want a good shop like this.... though it's mostly limited to Disneyland, check out MouseShoppe. Minimum profit (basically, just item, plus the tax, plus a VERY small upcharge) -- winds up being cheaper than DL mail order and ability to get several things that are not available through the mail order.

I would disagree and suggest the third party site... Disney does give great service and it is buying it from the source. But their shipping prices are nothing close to reasonable.

While their shipping can be high $49 for a cd that sells at the parks for $24 is ridiculous.

$12 to ship a $7 pin via UPS Ground is ridiculous.

The phone number and email address is printed on just about every merchandise reciept that I have gotten from WDW.
I always wondered why most people do not notice it.

When I was just down last week, I purchased a 20,000 leagues ride Porthole Window from the ride (SO AWESOME) and I paid shipping to my home based on the price not the weight.

Which is good in this case since it weighs 45 pounds and cost me $12 to ship it to PA via UPS.

Now I guess if I bought a Walt Disney Auto for $3000 I might be signing a different song.
