Yep I had mine a couple weeks ago. Luckily it was ok because I had no desire to do the 3 hour test.

The stuff I drank was nasty. It tasted like warm, flat orange soda. I've heard that at some labs they keep it in the fridge and that makes it a little better. At the hospital lab that I go to they take forever to do anything. My dr wanted me to be fasting and they didn't give me the drink until around 11:15. I was so hungry by the time I could eat!

I don't take mine until after 5:15pm the day I go. She didn't say anything about fasting, but just said to not eat sugar that day.

Someone told me not to eat sugar for about 48 hours before hand.

It won't be much since Bob might be going on strike in the beginning of April.:lookaroun

My stepmom (who is an OB) said that they do the tests all day and there is no reason to be fasting. I think my doctor just uses it as a little insurance to make sure you pass.

What do you think it is? (I think girl :animwink:, and I'm three for three in the past month. Another friend finds out tomorrow...)
