Shoes...

So 76 days to go (and counting!) and the only real thing i am struggling with is shoes!

Not sure what type of shoes/trainers/flip flops are the best especially with going in September where it's still humid and prone to rain storms.... don't want to spend the day with wet shoes and socks... yuck!

I've seen some people mention a type of flip flop however i am yet to find them/something similar in the UK any good recommendations? going for two weeks....

I may check crocs out - not too bothered about fashion just more comfort for the two weeks dont want to be in pain with all the walking!

The reason I switched was after my first experience wearing them on a WDW. No aching feet, back, knees or ankles! After that I made sure we ALL had them. On the last trip we each had two pairs. I have a bunch of different styles now. The most recent - boat shoes.

I did not realize they had branched out from the classic croc. Do you were socks with the classic crocs? I would get sunburned polka dot feet.

Sorry to whoever that is but it's pretty funny. I don't believe that happened to any of us but since we use spray sunscreen maybe the feet got enough to keep us from getting sunburned.

I just got back from there and my feet are quite happy. I wear Crocs Vezzy flip flops. They can be ordered from Famous Footwear. Good luck!

Just got back from Disney World a month ago. I switched between my tennis shoes to the Keens sandals. The pair I bought is waterproof. Not a pretty sandal, but comfortable and dries quickly when it gets wet (which it did). It was this forum where I learned about the Keens. Have a good trip....

I have been wearing Reef sandals for the last 2 days and my feet felt fine at the end of the day. I used to have Rider sandals and they were really well padded. I walked hiking trails in them.
