I just want to give props to Walt Disney World. I purshased a lot of things on my last trip and had them shipped to my home address. It was such a wonderful surprise for all my packages to arrive today. Plus, you do not get charged taxes which is a bigger plus. And the AP discount at World of DISNEY is even better.

I work in shipping and receiving and Ups and Fed Ex have both gone to dimensional weight. It all goes by the size of the boxes on what you're charges will be gone are the days of paying for actual weight . It's crazy that a large box that weighs about 7lbs will cost you a lot more than a small box that weighs 20 lbs .

In 2015, we bought a ceramic orange bird from the Marketplace at DS and we had it shipped home, because it was bulky and awkward; but also because we almost trusted Disney and their wrapping/shipping more than we trusted ourselves to carry it on the plane. It came in once piece and has been proudly lording over our home (high on a shelf) for the last 2 years!

Off topic but I have one too and it’s my most favorite Disney item I have ever purchased.
