Sheratons Vistana Villages

Hi just wondering if any one has stayed at these villas and any advise or tips would be most welcome. We are staying here in Oct 08. Advise for good restaurants close bye and the best plase to do a bit of shopping. Thanks!!

Hello. My brother owns a time share there. We have never stayed there but have visted many times. To sum it up: the place is beautiful. There is a lot of shopping. Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores, The Florida Mall and Prime Outlets all within close proximity to each other. Plus you are only 2 or 3 miles from Disney property. Plenty of places to eat on SR 535 and International Drive. I am sure you will enjoy it. We always go to Orlando in October and we'll be there in 2008 as well. If there is anything else, please let me know.

We stayed there last January on a trip to Universal only. Loved it. We didn't use any of the facility, just a place to sleep. Liked the kitchen and laundry.

Vistana

We stay at the Vistana resorts when we don't stay on property and love it! It's right around the corner from DTD and a short drive to any of the parks. Instead getting just a hotel room, with Vistana you get a one or two bedroom townhouse like place. They have kitchens, 2 bathrooms, a living room/dining room area and a screened in porch. If you don't know someone with a timeshare, you can find space available in Travelocity or Expedia most of the time. I highly recommend staying there.
