Sheikra construction photos 3/6

I went to BGT, a park with some of the most overrated coasters in America yesterday. :lol: There seemed to be a lot of people there, however there were no lines. The longest I waited was 20 minutes for Cheetah Chase (walked on Montu, Kumba, and Gwazi Tiger).

Why do you find them over rated?

Kumba is boring....
Montu is boring...
Gwazi is good, but highly overrated....

I've been on better.

Montu is trimmed to death. (has some interesting inversions though)
Gwazi sucked balls and was painful.
Never done Kumba

Sheik'ra will be a one trick pony (a good one trick pony, but still a one trick pony). Oblivion over here held interest for a few years, but the B&M Inverter that was built 4 years earlier at the same park, always beats it for crowds.

How is Montu trimmed? Lost me on that one.

Gwazi is a wooden rollercoaster. Has a diffrent feel. Don't really find it painful. Painful would be walking down the hill when it gets stuck.

Kumba is good. Better after a nice rainfall.

Montu is a wonderfully designed coaster with an excellent layout and a wide array of elements. Furthermore, the ride is enhanced by well-placed trenches and extensive themeing.

But unfortunately, the ride's pacing has been ruined by the recent addition of excessively-used trim brakes. Many of the elements have become slow and boring, and the forces have been greatly diminished.

It is very unfortunate to see the ride running in this state. Before the trims were added, Montu was consistently regarded as one of the top inverted coasters in existence. But without the intensity and great pacing it once offered, the ride falls short of B&M's other creations.

Is one of many reviews... unless they have changed it since I last went on which was a few years ago now.

the orignal montu had a few "trim" breaks added before a few spots to Slow it down and "Tame" it better.... (it still is agreat ride.. but without the trim breaks.. it is better.)

Sheikra will have only one Trim area... before the second drop... no othes... Though a holding break is on the first drop....

Looks like the track for Sheikra is 100% completed. It's now time for the construction workers to move on to the building complexes.
