When a couple breaks up you can get custody of different entities: friends, restaurants, etc.
What you have to do is claim Disney. There, you won. She can go to the beach.

As an aside, I want to comment on the “She changed” statement in your original post. She probably just changed back. The change was marriage. I don’t believe you have children, so right now it feels like losing a wife. After a while, it will feel like breaking up with a girlfriend. Then it won’t fell like much of anything.
For now, think of it as dodging a bullet before you had any more time and effort and heart invested.

I'm glad I found this thread. I'm so sorry to hear you have to deal with this kind of pain. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Sadly I'm going through something similar now. My husband recently left me and most of my Disney memories were with him. I used to live in Central FL and ended up moving back to WV for him. It was hard leaving because I knew I wouldn't get to visit the World as frequently but it was the right thing to do. Now 3 years later the reason I left FL has left me after only 1 1/2 years of marriage. He gave me the whole I want to be single speech also (althought after my recent Disney trip I found out he's got a girlfriend!) We had a Disney trip planned for October to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary but I actually ended up going in August instead with some of his family! :lookaroun It's truly sad when your inlaws can see what he's loosing, they actually asked me to go with them after all our mess started. It was hard to go back without him there and having to see our Leave a Legacy tile for the first time. It had already been several months since we seperated so I was starting to heal and realized many times on the trip that I was having so much fun and that he hadn't crossed my mind lately.

Like everyone else has said time will heal you, could be months could be years but in the end you'll be a better and stronger person. I'm already planning another trip for my birthday in Jan!:sohappy: It's still hard for me but each day gets easier to deal wtih. Keep going to the place you love the most and each time will be better than the last.
