My wife and I have done the Seas Aqua Tour twice and loved it both times. It is a bit expensive but I would definitely consider spending the money to do it again.

The sharks generally keep their distance (and the larger ones stay on the bottom) but one of them got close enough to startle me when I turned around and saw him. He was probably at least 15 feet away but when you aren't expecting to see a shark it is an interesting experience.

We also got to see a variety of fish, rays, and even the sea turtles (they also keep their distance). You even get to wave to the people in the pavillion and see who waves back. They also showed us the dolphins backstage but they do not come into the same area of the tank that you get to swim in.

You get to spend around 30 minutes in the tank. The water is a little chilly but the real shock comes when you get out of the water and have to walk back through the air conditioning.

I really wish I was SCUBA certified so I could actually dive in the tank but this made for a nice alternative.

It looked and sounds very interesting. Do you remember how much exactly it was? Can you touch the fish or not that close? Thank you for the info it helps a lot.

The pictures are great. But we are trying to decide if its work the 40 dollars to go to the water park just to do the shark reef and then leave. My husbands not really a water park person so we wouldn't be staying there that long.

My husband is not a water park person either...but he did have a great time at TL and BB. I'd say TL was his favorite by far. He is not a pool person either...and several members of our family have pools & pool parties...he never swims..lol...but he swam a lot at TL. So maybe once you get him there he will have a good time.

I believe the Epcot Seas Aqua Tour currently costs $140 per person. Park admission is not required. You are not suppose to touch the fish and the fish generally swim away from the people anyway (they can move really fast when they want to).

The last I knew ,the sharks were bonnetheads, a harmless variety of hammerhead sharks. That may have changed, though. It is interesting. Go first thing in the morning before the crowds and you get to spend a little more time in the water than being rushed across as fast as possible.
