Everytime I listen to it, it sounds worse to me. :) I'm no idol... better go back to playing my drums...

It'd be great to get some more up here though. Go for it MSUSA! It's fun! :)

As in the words of Randy Jackson: "Dawg, man, that was awesome!" Good job! Were you also playing the keyboard? One thing I gotta tell you though, you got bigger stones than I have to put that out for all to hear!

he he.. thanks! Nah.. I don't know how to play the keyboard. I found a MIDI file and just sung to that. There's alot of Disney MIDI files online.

Come on guys! Lets start posting some submissions! I don't want to be the only one. Gotta have some mouse in ya to post your vibes! So let's hear 'em! :sohappy:

Hey! Why doesn't anybody just sing to the Disney songs that I created on my keyboard?!!:D Those songs and this idea go "hand in hand"...

*hums "Celebrate the Future Hand in Hand"*

Or not.

I could create a MIDI or MP3 file for anybody if they want to do this "sing-along" if that file isn't available for download over the Net.:D :sohappy:

Great idea!

It sounds like Grover singing "Still I think he's rather tasty"

Good job, that is very difficult to do, and to share it with us takes guts. Thanks.

It's an ogg vorbis audio file. Similiar to an MP3, but wonderful in many other ways.

1) It is a totally free format (www.vorbis.com)
2) Higher fidelity sound (it's just clearer somehow..can't explain it)
3) You can get higher quality at smaller filesize than the equivalent MP3 version. It's quite impressive.

Winamp 2.81 full from http://classic.winamp.com can play ogg files no problem.

I know you're on a Mac, so possibly the Mac version of Winamp would handle ogg too. I'd be surprised if it did not. I think there's links to players you could try at www.vorbis.com that would do the trick too.

Thanks Spider-Man! I'm not going for a singing career or anything and am actually very shy in person, but figured I would throw this out there to build some confidence and start a fun thread that people will hopefully start submitting samples to.

So come on guys..let's hear some! :)

Grover.. LOL. I should work on that and go around talking to my coworkers like that. :)

wow. great idea. if you wanted a sing-a-long of me, it would be best to just hide a mic on one of my friends and have them take me through any of the parks. usually they yell at me for singing along too much (especially at fantasmic and illumination and spectro).

Oh my goodness! That was f-ing hilarious! Your singing wasn't too bad (probably if you took the song down a whole or half step you would have reached the higher notes better-I'm a music teacher, sorry) but those extra character voices cracked me up!!! Thanks for sharing!:sohappy:

You're welcome for *that thing*. :)

I appreciate the feedback and suggestion. I've never been in chorus.. just school band (concert and marching) and have had no training or anything in vocals. I'm a percussionist and can work that much easier, but I like to have fun and *try* to sing. Hardly any music theory.. it's all about the beats and timing for me. I'm probably a weirdo, but when I hear a new song for the first time I don't really understand the lyrics and what the artist is singing about, but I hear the percussion first and foremost. It takes me a long time to really comprehend what the lyrics are really about.. before that they are just sounds to me. Lucky for me there's usually some website with lyrics to songs I like online. That makes it much easier. :)

I might just have to sing another one. I have fun doing it and hope others will too.

Vorbis does actually sound familiar, now that I think about it. I managed to find a quicktime component for it, and everything works fine! Thanks for that by the way, top notch. My sister is wondering if you have any more (like Clay).
