Any pictures of these parade floats? I had no idea that there were more floats to this parade... I had always seen the crystal castle float and thought it was one of those "budget" things.

I don't know if show stops will ever return to the parade. What happened with Javier (I knew Javier and I was very upset and saddened by what happened) was something that I don't think anybody would have been able to dream up. With show stops, you could risk the lives of the performers and the guests who participate in the show stops. Do I miss them, yes, but I don't think it takes away from the overall effect of the parade. Personally, I would have a hard time watching the parade if the Princess float were still in it. It was hard enough seeing the first time after Javier's death.

We'll see what happens. I know that they have parade spotters now because I have a very good friend who has been scheduled for that shift. I just hope what happened to Javier never happens again.
