They're saying they're closed Monday and Tuesday but not saying anything about a reopening Wednesday.

Another indefinite closure coming? Even though there are vaccines and strict protocols?

Hong Kong is also seeing a rapid rise in cases and many deaths from Omicron. Apparently most of the elderly in Hong Kong are not vaccinated, and Covid mainly kills the elderly and/or obese who are unvaccinated, even the milder Omicron variant.

Only 30% of Hong Kongers over age 80 are vaccinated! o_O

Hong Kong Disneyland was closed on January 7th, and it will remain closed until at least April 22nd.

Europe has soaring case rates, in part due to lifting restrictions. Here in the UK rates are up around a third week on week. Deaths are also starting to rise but luckily not as bad as in the past. Could mean more restrictions at DLP or cutbacks if people delay travel etc

As you all may be aware Shanghai Disneyland (& Universal Beijing Resort) have no reopening date in sight as per today's Disney's earnings call. This comes at news that the U.N and WHO both declare zero-COVID as no longer viable, urging them to change their COVID strategy. It also appears Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan are about to move away from zero-COVID per what I have been hearing.
