SGE question

We will be visiting in Dec., and we hope to be able to ride SGE. Can anyone tell me if it will have any height restrictions? Our 5 & 2 yr. olds love him.

From what I've heard, SGE will have the same harness system as AE. If it does, then it will most likely have a very similar height requirement (which I think was like 48 inches for AE). This would be due to the fact that you have to be a certain height for the harness and special effects to work properly.

Did anyone else ever try this in AE? If you hunched your shoulders, the bars stopped where your shoulders were. Then you could relax and have room to move a little. I did this every time in AE and I was more comfortable than if the bars were sitting directly on my shoulders.

Hmmmm only because its a slow day at work. This is from a 3 year old memory so its probably not exact.

The audience is there to watch XS-Tech demonstrate their interglatic teleporter. They select an audience member to be teleported to the XS-Tech homeworld. The XS-Tech president decides it would be better if he comes here instead. The teleporter beam gets blocked by another planet and picks up this nasty flying carnivorous alien.

The alien, a large animatronic, breaks the the glass on the transport tube but is held in place by a containment laser field. Then the power fails, all the lights go out, the containment laser field goes dark, and the sound of large wings can be heard as the alien flys up into the rafters and catwalks.

Maintenance guy comes in the catwalk with a flashlite to find what the power problem is. He is wearing a video headset so the monitors show what he sees. He pans the audience with his flash light a few times, then finds the alien on the catwalk. The alien charges, flashlight goes out when a large "crunch" is heard followed by screams and drops of liquid falling on the audience.

Alien flys around in the dark, you hear him/her/it stalking around right behind your head and feel its breath on the back of your neck. Screams are heard from the audience and a woman in the audience is even heard to say "Who's brain is this?" (My FAVORITE line from any Disney attraction).

Power is restored to the containment laser field. XS-Tech worker screams really loud over the intercom to attract the alien back to the tube. Lights and lasers come back on, with alien in tube. Alien is transported back to where it came.

Surviving guests leave the auditorium.

Thats most of what I remember.

I dunno, but for some reason I have a feeling that you might want to ride SGE before you let your kids on it. I know, it's Stitch, but this is when he was still the violent 626.
