SGE AP Preview question

HI all,

We will be down there Nov 3-6, and I'd love to take my son on the SGE ride. My question is this: will we BOTH need APs the get on the ride, or can he come with me if I have one and he doesn't? I am planning on getting an AP to take advantage of discounts, but he has leftover park hopper days (and I really don't want to pay for an upgrade)

It's one per person, unless Disney specifically mentions that guests of AP's will be allowed in.

Do you think they will let Seasonal pass holders in? I got the info in my E-mail so I was thinking it would be allowed? Anyone know?
