You know, the more I think of that, I take back my comment. I can't imagine a better Captain Nemo than James Mason, and there's no one today that could replace Peter Lorre or Kirk Douglas in thier roles. Plus, it's a little too much to ask Disney to update the film with the Harper Goff's classic designs, and the amazing camera angles in that movie (especially when the camera shows just how confining the Nautilus is by keeping the floor and ceiling in the frame). I think the film still stands as one of Disney's best, even ranking up there with Pirates and Tron in my book (Tron's a whole other can of worms, though...).
