SewIn2Disney's Trip Report with Pics!

As promised to some, here is my trip report from May 30-June 6.
Trip consisted of two people: Myself (Female: age 22) and my friend (Female: age 25). We had known of each other in HS, and now we work part time at a fabric store store, and we have become friends. She had been wanting to go for a few months, but neither of us had the money. One day I saw a great deal on a flight, plus I still had an annual pass that wouldn't expire until the week after, so I considered it my graduation gift to myself.

Here's the link to the pictures because I don't know how to put them into the thread itself (they always show up as red x's for me, unless I put them into the WDWmagic photoalbum, and there is not enough space there)

Day 1.
Our flight was scheduled for 7 am. We left at 5 am to head down to Atlantic City Airport. We got there in about 45 minutes. It was my first time at that airport, and people had told me that it was small, but I was in shock as to how small. One check in counter, one security check, one set of stairs, one bathroom (just kidding). Seriously, it was small. We got there, checked in, went through security, used the ladies room, and boarded all within 15 minutes. We took off right on time and had a great flight. It went by so fast. We made friends with the man sitting next to us, and played Mad Libs. We even landed 25 minutes ahead of schedule (yippee!). Since we were using Magical Express, we headed toward the check in counter, and hopped aboard a bus within 20 minutes of landing.
Our hotel, Pop Century, was the first stop off from Magical Express. We grabbed our carry-on’s and ran to the lobby. We were checked in, and in our room by 10:30 (gotta love Mousekeeping….our room was ready waaay ahead of schedule.) Since we had been up since 4am, we were more then ready for lunch. We waited in Everything Pop until just before 11 when they started serving lunch.
After a yummy bowl of veggy stir-fry, it was off to Epcot. We caught a bus (it was practically a private bus, as it was us and one other couple). We got our first taste of the Flower and Garden Festival just outside the park gates, where a giant flowery peacock greeted us. The lines to get in were huuuuge! We hoped it wasn’t this crowded inside too! We made it through the turnstiles and headed to the “Tunnel of Love” topiary to take some pictures. We started our Photo Pass card here as well. From there we headed straight to Soarin’ to get a Fastpass. (This would be the first of many many many trips inside the Land today). Our FastPass was for later that evening, so we left the Land. We then headed into Innoventions to play around for a bit. At 2:10, we went outside to catch the Kristos, my favorite ‘non-attraction show’ in Disney. I was surprised to see that they got new costumes! They are now seafoam green instead of the red I was used to. After that I decided it was time for some free soda, so off to Club Cool. My friend had never been in there, so you know what was on my mind… “fresh meat!”. I told her Beverly was my favorite, and waited while she filled her cup up. She had chugged about half of the cup before she realized how gross it really is. And this would be where I took lots and lots of pictures while she got angrier and angrier. Mwa ha ha… I was disappointed that they were out of a lot of flavors, including VegiBeta, my favorite. From Club Cool, we wandered into the Flower and Garden Festival Center. The giant Disney stamps made out of rose heads were amazing! We shopped around a bit, and both bought a “toothpick holder”.
We had a 3:30 reservation to go on the Behind the Seeds tour at the Land, so we decided to start heading there. On the way, we passed the new area where they put the characters (instead of the bus), where we found Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto, Goofy, Chip and Dale, all with no lines. We just had to stop. We got pictures and autographs from all. (We plan on scrapbooking the autographs, that’s why we got them).
Finally, we then went back to the Land for our tour. We checked in downstairs, and were given our nametags, and told where to wait for the next few minutes. After a bit, our tour guide, Bill, came out and gathered us together. We were guided through the exit of Soarin’, and lead to a Cast Member door. This is where our tour began. We were in a small room with a lot of tanks of bugs, and a small TV. Bill instructed us to introduce ourselves and where we were from. He then introduced himself and launched into the tour. We started in the bug room where we learned how and what kinds of bugs are helpful to plans, and watched a short video on it. He then led us outside, behind the Land building. We were brought to a window that showed tissue cell regeneration, where they take cells from the tissues of plants, and regenerate new plants from the cells of others. Next we went into the actual greenhouse where the Living With the Land boat ride goes. Essentially, the tour goes in reverse order of the boat ride. We started in the hydroponics room, continued into the next room where the Mickey Mouse pumpkin is grown (and I got to hold it!). Here we stopped for a water break (they have a water cooler and cups) and a snack of cucumbers that were grown in the greenhouse. Very good! Then we went on to the fish room, where we saw alligators, and all kinds of fish in large round tanks. Last was on to my favorite part, the domed greenhouse part. The banana trees back there were among the largest I’ve ever seen, and I saw how pineapple is really grown (I had no idea it grew from a bush like plant!).
All in all, the tour was great! It was so much fun seeing all the tour boats go by, looking at us like we were celebrities. I loved how you could take as many pictures as you wanted, and Bill was great, answering any questions we may have had! I would recommend the tour to anyone!
After our tour, we headed to the other side of Innoventions (East), did the Fantastic Plastic thing, and made a robot. We also hit the butterfly garden, but none of the butterflies would land so I could take a picture! After that we went back to Innoventions West to get our free Visa picture at the Character Connection. This was great! We spent a good 10 minutes with Mickey and Pluto, dancing and playing with them, and we got a free 5x7 out of it! We were starving by then, so we headed back to the Land (time number 3!) to ride Soarin’, and have dinner at Seasons.
Since we had been up at 4am, we were dead tired, even though it was only 7ish. We took a quick ride on Spaceship Earth, picked up our print from the Character Connection, and headed back to the bus. We were just going to go back to the room for a bit, then come back for Extra Magic Hour, but we ended going back to the room and crashing. We decided not to go back to Epcot that night, but just relax at the hotel. We took a night stroll around Pop Century, and took some pretty night pictures. A stop off at the food court to fill up our mugs with frozen cokes rounded off the evening, and I fell asleep that night to the sounds of Stacey’s Top 7 WDW Must Sees.

Day 2:
Day two was spent at MGM. We got there just after opening, and headed straight for Rock’n Roller Coaster. My friend had never ridden it before, so we got a FastPass for that, and went to wait in line at Tower of Terror. To be honest with you, I’m not a fan of the ride, but I survived. After ToT, we did a little shopping down Sunset Blvd. We then headed for Who Wants to be a Millionaire, but found out that the group just ahead of us would fill the place to capacity. I was shocked that they couldn’t fit the two of us in! We wandered down the street, and saw Sorcerer Mickey was around, so we hopped in line. He’s my favorite, so I’d wait in any line to see him! After meeting the Mickster, we went on the Backlot tour. The tour was going great (despite having the WORST tour guide ever) until just before we were to drive into Catastrophe Canyon. We stopped, and waited. And waited. And waited! We waited there for about 20 minutes, while the tour guide said “just a moment” about 35 times. No lie. We were all making fun of him. He kept trying to tell us stuff about the props that we were stopped near, but no one was paying attention. After another few ‘just a moments’, he asked if we wanted more information…..after a rousing Noooo from the people on the tour, he said ‘just a moment’ again. He told us to look at our FastPass tickets, as he hoped we weren’t missing anything, because there was nothing he could do about it if we were (I thought that was unprofessional). After watching a few golf carts full of important looking people enter the Canyon, we finally got to go in. By this time we were hot and frustrated, and we just wanted off.
We were finally released from the tour, and headed to Pizza Planet for lunch. I love Disney pizza! And what better place to eat it, then in Pizza Planet? After lunch, we went to the Animation tour, for my favorite thing in MGM, the Animation Academy. We bypassed the tour, and headed in the exit to the Academy area and got right into the next show. Here we learned how to draw Goofy, and I have to say, ours came out darn good! We only had time for the one drawing (I’ve been known to go from show to show for hours on end), because we had to head back for our Rock’n Roller Coaster FastPass. The ride was great, and my friend was totally freaked out by the start….the picture is great! Since MGM was open until 1:00am that night, we decided to go back mid-afternoon to take a break. So from RnR we caught a bus back to the hotel.
Back at Pop, we donned our bathing suits and headed to the pool. The pool in the 80’s area rocks! I love the soundtrack of 80’s music they play there! We hung out in the pool for a while, and then got out to lie out. We laid out for about 15 minutes when it started to rain, so we packed up and went back to the room. On the way back, I spotted a rainbow over the parking lot, so I stopped to take a few pictures of the rainbow over the 90’s building. We got back to the room, got changed, and decided to head to Downtown Disney for dinner and some shopping before we went back to MGM.
Nothing major to report in Downtown Disney. We did some extensive shopping in the scrapbooking store, sent home some postcards, and bought lots of stuff. Then we went to Mickey’s Mart, where nothing is over $10, I love that store! We then had the most amazing dinner at the Earl of Sandwich. I had the Chicken Florentine sub with Jalapeno chips and potato salad. It was sooooo good. We did some more shopping, then hopped a bus back to Pop, just to hop a bus over to MGM. We were the only ones on the bus back to MGM, and we had a very talkative bus driver, but he was really nice. We got back to MGM just after 10ish, and grabbed a wristband so we could stay for Extra Magic Hour. The first thing we hit was Rock’n Roller Coaster again, no line! Then we headed right back to the Animation Academy, where we sat through 3 more classes, we got to draw Mickey, Pooh, and Stitch. For some reason, we had to wait over 30 minutes before the last lesson, but we made friends with a couple and their 9 year old, who was absolutely adorable (and awake, considering it was after midnight!). By this time it was 12:55, and we had just enough time to be the last two seated on the Great Movie Ride. After the ride, we wandered, very slowly, towards the exit. We were it in the park. We took a few minutes to enjoy the people-free Sunset Blvd, and took some great pictures. I even laid in the middle of the street, with my 9 inch tripod, just to get some good pictures of Tower of Terror. Then, we finally left, and were practically escorted out by security. I’ve never closed a park quite like that!

Day 3:
Day three was at the Magic Kingdom. We didn’t quite get there at opening (8am), considering our late night the night before, but it was still around 9ish. We hustled down Main Street, and right over to Space Mountain to get a FastPass. We then went right to Buzz, as it was still only a 10-minute wait. After winning on Buzz (hahaha) we took a relaxing ride on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority, one of my favorite rides. We had been trying to get reservations to Chef Mickeys since we booked our trip. I had never been there before, and we decided that we had to go, because who better to go with, then another character nut like myself. Well, we never got the reservations, so we decided to wing it, and just show up and hope for the best. We decided after the TTA, considering it was just after 10am, to go over. We were hoping for a late breakfast, to sort of constitute a lunch. We exited MK, and grabbed a Monorail over to the Contemporary. When we got to the check in stand at Chef Mickey’s we were practically laughed at for not having a reservation. But, I guess we must have looked pretty pathetic, because they told us to come back at 11am and they’d see what they could do. So, we shopped around for an hour. Contemporary really has some different shops! It definitely kept us occupied (as any shopping could…). We went back at 11, and they told us they could get us in for the last seating. We were directed to a waiting area, and watched people parasail around the old Discovery Island for a few minutes, then were buzzed for breakfast. Breakfast was great! We got all of the characters, plus some good food! Highlights include: blintzes, the candy toppings, peanut butter pizza, breakfast pizza, and the cheesy eggs.
Now that we were stuffed, we headed back to the MK. We took the monorail back, which gave us a great chance to digest aaaallll the food we just ate. Nothing too out of the ordinary in the Magic Kingdom: we rode It’s a Small World, Teacups, Space Mountain, Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, Mickey’s Philaharmagic, Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain, Cinderellabration,Big Thunder Mountain, Jungle Cruise, WDW Railroad, and hit everything in Mickey’s Toontown. We ended the night with SpectroMagic, and Wishes. We then slowly wandered out, hitting all of the stores so we didn’t have to fight the crowds. This worked out great, as we had all of Main Street to ourselves within 45 minutes (once again, great picture time!) and then we actually got a seat on the bus back to the hotel.

Day 4:
For our fourth day we went back to Epcot. We got there at opening, and headed right to Mission:Space to get a FastPass. There were FastPasses aplenty (everyone else headed to Soarin!). While we waited for our time to roll around, we went to Test Track. Seeing as it just opened from renovation, I thought the TV’s in the car would work, but nooooo, they didn’t. Either way, the ride is still fast, and I like it! After we got off, it was time to go back to Space. We chose orange….no wimping out for us! We were paired with a husband and wife, and the wife screamed bloody murder the entire time, it was hysterical. This was my second time on the ride, and I was able to enjoy it better then the first. After stumbling out of Space, we headed into Millenium Plaza. We stopped briefly to watch the Jammitors (who, in honor of the Flower and Garden Festival were playing on giant flower pots.) We had a few minutes before World Showcase opened, so we went over to Journey into Imagination. Then we headed into World Showcase via the rose garden walkway. We started by going right, and exploring Canada and the United Kingdom. The Winnie the Pooh topiary’s in the UK were awesome! After that, we walked straight to Japan, as we had a 12:00 reservation at the Teppanyaki Room. Lunch was great! I had the chicken and my friend had the scallops. We were seated with a young couple, and another couple with a child around 8 or 9. Everyone was really nice, and we all talked a bit before the show started. We had a humorous chef, who kept us all laughing (he gave the child all of the “scraps” from the food, and said, “enjoy!” and she gave him the best look; he spelled out “no fork” from zucchini and onions; made an onion volcano, then turned it into a hidden Mickey; etc). After lunch, we headed back towards France, to catch up on what we missed on our way to lunch. On the way, there was a Home Depot sponsored “garden party”. We wandered inside so I could find the wedding cake, there was also a small house to play in, and a play area for kids. They gave us free Home Depot Aprons (I think they were left over from the 75 Mickey’s celebration as they had that icon on them.) We immediately donned our way-too-small aprons and headed to France. As we were exploring the “sniff garden”, Sleeping Beauty walked by, and asked if she could have her picture taken with us. So we followed her, and got some pictures. Belle showed up shortly after, and we took some pictures with her. Belle told us that she saw her friend Snow White and Dopey down by the back entrance to Epcot, so we headed down there next. (Three Princesses in 10 minutes isn’t bad!). We then continued towards Mexico, stopping in the plaza area to take pictures of the Beauty and the Beast, Mickey and Minnie, and Lady and the Tramp topiaries. We went in Mexico to cool down, rode El Rio del Tiempo, and did some extensive shopping. Then off to Norway, where I photographed the cute troll topiary. We rode Malestrom (and got stuck on the lift hill in the darkness with the evil eye staring at us for a good five minutes…..freaky), and did some extensive shopping. Next on the world tour was China, which brought us cute panda topiaries, and a smoky dragon topiary. We were soooo hot by now, we decided to trek back to Japan to try a Kaki Gori, which I had heard so much about. They definaely live up to their expectactions! We both got rainbow, which included honeydew, cantaloupe, and strawberry syrups. Soooo good! Then we went back through the countries, back to the beginning. We started with Morocco, to do, you guessed it, extensive shopping! We sort of skipped over Italy, just pausing to take some flowery pictures. Then on to Germany, where we were on a hunt for Gummy Bears (my friend’s favorite food in the whole world) after some extensive shopping (noticing a trend here?) we found them, only to find out that they are not made in Germany. She was very disappointed, and did not buy them. (On a side note, I was going to buy some ornaments in Norway for my mom, only to turn them over to find a “Made in China” sticker on the back, what’s up with that? China was the next country over, not Norway! I didn’t buy them either.) We were pretty much done with World Showcase so we decided to head back to Future World. We were just by the plaza area, when we decided we wanted dinner. My friend wanted to go to the fast food place in Japan, so we took a FriendShip over. On the way, we noticed the sky getting blacker then black, and sure enough, just as we got in line for dinner, the sky opened up and it poured buckets. We were lucky to get a table, as it got somewhat crowded in there as people dodged the rain. After dinner, the rain wasn’t letting up any, so we donned our ponchos and headed back to Future World. Why is Disney the only place where you can get away with wearing ponchos and still fit in? Hahaha. We wandered back through the rose garden, and took pictures of the roses, with fresh raindrops on them…soo pretty! We did some shopping in Mouse Gear and the pin station while we waited for the rain to truly pass. Then, on to the Living Seas, where we found a small line for Turtle Talk! We got into the next show, and it was great, of course! After that, we headed back to World Showcase for Illuminations, stopping of course to take pictures of a nighttime Spaceship Earth….I love SSE at night. We even found a PhotoPass person to get some night shots, they came out great! We then got an okay spot for Illuminations, and booked it out of there before the “We Go On” (which I sang to anyone who would listen on the way out). I had never left through the front of Epcot (usually we go out the back), and I didn’t know they put laser pictures on SSE. There was a spinning earth, then the words “Illuminations: Presented by Sylvania”. Nice touch. I took one last picture of the Donald love boat topiary with SSE in the back, and we left.

Day 5:
Day five was our last full day in a park. We ended our trip with the Animal Kingdom. We got there, and booked to Everest (as every other person did), and got a FastPass that wasn’t good until 2:30! We could, however get a new FastPass in another hour, so we headed toward Kilimanjaro Safari’s. We shopped around in the store by there (not sure of the name), and bought a lot of gifts for people back home. I bought this gorgeous bowl, hand painted by people in Africa. They are bright, and bold, and feature hidden Mickey’s. My friend got some gourd ornaments, which were also amazing. When it was time, we got FastPasses for Kilimanjaro Safari. While we were back there, we headed over to Rafiki’s Planet Watch. I consider this one of AK’s hidden gems. We took the train over, and headed into the building. In there we got pic’s with Pochahontas, Rafiki, and Stanley (no Dennis though!), and wandered around. We then headed out to the petting area, and hung out with the goats, cows, and other animals. As we were leaving, I spotted Push, the talking trashcan. I was video taping him for a few minutes, and was about to leave when he came up to us. So I turned the video back on. He asked if I was taking a still picture or video picture, and I told him a video picture. So he spun around for me. Then he asked us where we were from, and we said New Jersey. He laughed and asked, “What Exit?” (For those of you not from NJ, you’ll never get it). We told him 74, and he said he knew people from Long Beach Island, which is very close by. He talked to us for another minute, and then headed off to bug someone else. It was definitely the highlight of our day. We took the train back, and were just in time for our Kilimanjaro FastPass, so we hopped right on. There were lots of animals out, and the highlight here, was the baby elephant and his mom in the pool, the pictures from that are just amazing! After the safari, we went to the Tusker House for lunch (mac and cheese….mmmm). Then, it was time for Everest! It was impossible to find the FastPass entrance in the sea of people, but we found it. The scenery in the queue is amazing, as everyone has said. I did, however, find a typo on a sign! And I took a picture of course! The ride was great, I was most surprised at how smooth it was! I love how you could see every other park icon from the lift! We got off the ride, and since we had free tickets for a free picture (we got them online) we hopped into that line to get them. After Everest, we wandered over to Flights of Wonder, for a nice, cool show. After Flights of Wonder, we meandered over to Camp Minnie Mickey, got a picture with Safari Mickey, then waited for Festival of the Lion King, my favorite show in all of WDW. We were second in line, so we had our pick of seats! The show was great, as usual. It’s even better taking someone who’s never seen it before though! My friend loved it as well.
After that, it was time to go. We left the park, and went back to our hotel. My friends parent’s were coming to get us, and take us over to their time share (Vistana Resorts), where we would spend our last three days. We got back to Pop, got our luggage from the luggage assistance place, and had one last dinner at Everything Pop. We closed out our last “Disney” dinner with a tie-dye cheesecake. While we waited for her parents to come, we headed outside where they have a bucket of chalk and a pile of hula-hoops to play with. We drew some pictures, and had some hula-hoop contests, and took some pictures inside the giant decade numbers outside. It’s the little things like the hula-hoops and chalk that make me love Disney so much. Her parents came soon, and we loaded up and went to the time-share.

Day 6:
Nothing too Disney-ish today. We slowly woke up, had breakfast, and chilled. My friend had some relatives coming to visit today, so we just relaxed in the room. We watched TV, did some Sudoku puzzles, played cards, etc. When her relatives got there we went to lunch, then chilled some more.
After they left, we decided to go to Pleasure Island for the night, so we all showered and got ready. My friends older sister decided to join us for the night. We went to Planet Hollywood for dinner, and then headed into PI. We started off in 8trax, the 70’s and 80’s inspired club, and one of my favorites. Since it was still early, we were practically it on the dance floor. There was, however, one old guy in pressed white shorts, pressed white button down shirt, white shoes and white socks pulled waay up. He was dancing like he never left the 80’s. It was great! Since there was no one there yet we headed over to the Comedy Warehouse. When we got in, I made my friend take the wall seat, next to the phone, as I know from being there before, what happens with that phone. Sure enough, her phone rang. She talked to them for a few minutes about her job, college, and her ex-boyfriend. They then came out and sang a three minute song, mainly poking fun of her ex. It was great. The comedy warehouse was great as usual. After the show we went to a few other clubs, The Beach Club, Mannequins, etc, but since it was Gay Day’s weekends, we found ourselves amongst many man on man action. As we were heading back to 8trax, there was a dance contest going on the street. I volunteered my friend and her sister, and they went out. They were up against two other guys and a four year old. (Don’t ask me what a four year old was doing out at this time of night). They all danced and were voted by our cheering. You would not believe it, but the four year old won. So we went back to 8trax. We danced there for a bit, did the Midnight YMCA, and danced some more. As the guys got creepier and creepier, we headed over to the Adventurers Club, for the last show of the night. Kungaloosh! We finished our evening at Motion, then got a cab back to the hotel.

Day 7:
After our day of relaxing the day before we were ready for one more park. We headed over to Typhoon Lagoon. I had never been there before, and we chose it for the new Crush n Gusher and Shark Reef. We got our tickets, got a locker, and headed right for Crush n Gusher. I was so amazed at the scenery, foliage, and beach areas in this place…it was amazing! Crush n Gusher was awesome as well. We did all three slides, and loved them all. There are just no words to describe how fast you really go in them. And when they say you go “up hill” you have no idea how steep that hill really is! Next we headed back to Shark Reef before it got too busy. There was about a 30 minute wait, but we watched everything that was going on around us, so it went fast. We got up to the front, had our briefing, and got in the water. The water is kept at 70 degrees, but that’s subtropical compared to the ocean water around here! It took a second of getting used to, but I got right into it. It’s really amazing seeing all the fish up close, and you bet I had an underwater camera with me! After that we went over to the storm slides, my first big water slide on my butt (aka, with no tube under me!), I loved them so much I did them all too. All of this climbing stairs for the slides had us famished so we headed back to our locker to get money for lunch. We had lunch (grilled cheese pretzels….good stuff!), my friend got a pearl from the pick an oyster thing, and we headed back to the lockers to put our stuff away….only to discover…my friend threw out our key with lunch. We stopped at the nearest Cast Member to see what to do, and he told us to go back to the shop and they’d be able to help us, and they did. Within 5 minutes we had a new locker and key. Now I was responsible for the key. We decided on the lazy river so we could digest lunch. I love lazy rivers, and as Stacey from the resort TV would say, “Look at all the lazy people in the lazy river…” We got out of the Castaway Creek by Mayday falls (tube slides). We did all three slides there, then walked to the wave pool. I was stoked for the wave pool, growing up at the ocean (down the shooore), I knew I’d be able to show these people a thing or two about riding the waves. Man was I wrong. Those waves just pounded you, and threw me under every time. But, it was still a ton of fun! We then hitched a tube in Castaway Creek back to the storm slides for a few more slides down before we had to go. By this time it was 5:00, and time to leave. My friends parent’s picked us up, and we went back to the time share to shower and get ready for our last night in Disney. They took us to Fulton’s Crab House for dinner before shopping in Downtown Disney. Fulton’s was amazing. I had lobster and crab bisque and seared tuna with seaweed salad for dinner. It was so so so so so good. Then we shopped around DTD, hitting the Lego store and the World of Disney. Then we went back home. We spent the next two hours in the room trying to re-pack everything so we’d be able to get home the next day. This took some creative packing (or shoving) on our parts, and we both ended up with a third suitcase for the trip home. Oh well!

Day 8:
Our last day. We got up fairly early, donned our bathing suits, and headed for the pool. We had barley laid down, when the activities director came by and told us that water aerobics would be starting soon. So we jumped in. The arobics was more intense then we had planned, but it was a lot of fun! We used wet towels as weights, and did some partner work. It was good to workout after a week of eating a lot. After water aerobics was a volleyball tournament, so we signed up for that too. It was my friend and myself against an older man and another girl our age. Our opponents had never met before, but they shared one thing in common: they’ve both played volleyball profesionaly. We figured we were dead. My friends sister came over to take some pictures while we played, but we were losing so bad she left. At one point in time, my friend bumped the ball into my head so hard I fell over and my sunglasses went flying off of my head. We lost the game (not by much though!), but the lady gave us all free golf passes anyway (I think she felt bad that I got hit). We went back to our chairs to rest. I spent a good hour napping and listening to my iPod, interrupted only by brief jumps into the pool to cool down. We had a quick poolside lunch, then back to the room to get everything in the car so we could head back to the airport. We left for the airport just after 3:00, for our 6:20 flight. We got there around 3:45, checked in, got through security, did some shopping (hey—we had to end this trip right!), and got to our waiting area. We only waited for about 15 minutes before boarding. There were about 60 empty seats on our flight, so we were able to move back to have some space. I spent most of the flight listening to my iPod and drawing from my new “How to draw Princesses” book that I had bought. Just before landing, I looked up to see a beautiful sunset from the other side of the plane, so we switched sides, and took a gazillion and a half pictures of the sunset from in the sky. It was amazing. We had a great landing, and got off of the plane, just as my dad got to the airport to pick us up. Perfect timing. Back to Atlantic City Airport, the one with one of everything. We found the one baggage claim, got our luggage, and headed back home. We talked my dad’s ear off on the way home, but we were excited to be back! Back from a magical vacation.

What a trip report ! Got to love Atlantic City's airport it small and efficient ! You're photos turned out great especially the night shots. I thought the references to the top seven where quite clever as well. Thanks for sharing !

Thanks for all of the feedback. I'd never done a trip report before but I love reading others, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I didn't realize how much work it would be! That was 9 pages in Word!

Thanks again for reading my trip report!

Thanks for the trip report...sorry if I forced you into it....LOL

I loved all of your pictures, too.

I loved the fact that you had pictures of the food you ate...That was cool.

Oh, you didn't force me, you encouraged me, thank you!

And the pictures of food have a story behind them. My parents (well, my mom) thinks that I don't eat enough while on vacation, so I took pictures of everything I ate to "prove" to them that I did, indeed, eat. We even ate somewhat healthily. No chicken nuggets or burgers there! Not even one single french fry.
