The parts above water are definitely gone. They were there for the longest time - I always remembered as a kid wondering what that strange set of pipes were while riding the Monorail. I can't remember when they were removed either, but if I were to place a bet on it, must have been during the construction of the Floridian seeing the machine wouldn't have made too nice of view for the Wedding Pavilion.
