Sequels of movies

Hi all! This is my 1st post!

Why is it all of a sudden Disney are bringing out lots of sequels to old and some new movies?

Like for instance Lady and the Tramp 2,
Peter Pan 2, Hunchback of Notre-Dame 2, Recess 2: Christmas on Third Street, Cinderella 2, and probably more to come.

I would say Toy Story 2 I love any moive that comes out of Disny moovie that is 3-D. I have All of the Disney/Pixar and Dinosaur too. I am hoping we will seee a toy story 3 some time.

Most definately Toy Story 2! Still, Return to Neverland is gonna be one of the best disney movies in a while. And whats this, I had no idea they were making Tarzan 2

I think it is only a straight to video sequel though
Hope it will be better than the TV series.

Toy Story 2 was way funnier then the original especially with the outtakes at the very end.

Probly from Variety since they printed an article about Peter Pan 2 coming to theaters and soon to be DTV releases like Mulan 2 and Tarzan 2.

This is terrible, are there any disney movies that don't have or aren't being made into sequels? Ohh, thank goodness, Emperor's New Groove and Atlantis. The two flops. When they make sequels to those, we'll be in trouble. Don't get me wrong I loved 'em both.

They are making a Atlantis sequels and a 101 Dalmatians (animated) sequel as we speak.

I hope you're wrong about Atlantis, although i did like it, I'd like it if they didnt make a sequel.

The Atlantis sequel will be a collaboration of the first 3 episodes of the series that was planned then canceled but it may be back on depending on how well the video and DVD do.

They are coming out with another Lion King. It will be called Lion King 1.5. I belive it is told in Timon and Pumba's point of view.

I voted for Lady and the Tramp 2 because the original is my favorite. But I also loved Return to Neverland, Toy Story 2 and Fantasia 2000.

Recess and Tarzan are more like compilation of the series rather than sequels.

Lion King 1.5 will be a direct to video movie. I believe it won't be out for another couple of years.
