I live in the UK ,and we've been to WDW every year the past 7 years staying at the Swan ,we always visit early May ,before the summer crowds kick in.It appeared we wouldn't go this year ,but my dad told me today we might go in September ,so that's put me in a good mood ! The question I have ,are there any crowded times in September and how much will it rain.Any comments will be highly appreciated!

Historically a great time to visit because of the low crowds, decent weather and Halloween decorations, we'll be there again this year in September too. Consider yourself warned, the F&W festival start date has been pushed back to September 19th! So expect larger than normal September crowds the last two weeks of September.

The end of Sept can be a bit crowded. The beginning has very light crowds.

It will rain a lot, but don't let that stop you. Bring ponchos and plan to be inside restaurants or longer attractions in the early afternoon.

We need time for things to happen.
We used to always go in the first week of may. We have been going the last week of september and its been the same level of crowds as early may.

September is a great time to go! This will be our third September in a row. Crowds are relatively low, tempatures are still warm-hot. You can do mickeys not so scary haloween party this time of year.. Tip-avoid Epcot on the weekends during door and wine if you are there

September is the best - I walked onto Space Mountain last year at 2 PM with no line!

If you're planning on going to Food & Wine, you can avoid most crowds by starting early in the day at 11 when World Showcase opens. I found the crowds to be pretty nonexistent then.

In past years, we could just walk on to rides. We rode R'n'R & Splash mountain 4 times and EE 3 times without getting off. FP+ may change things so who knows now...
I wouldn't worry about the rain too much. My last two trips have been in September and it rained for about 10 - 20 minutes everyday around 12pm to 2pm.
