I just want everyone's opinion. I'm staying in wdw at the end of September mostly because of the food and wine festival and the not so scary halloween party. I currently have reservations at the beach club but I am also considering the grand floridian. I love MK and Epcot equally. should I switch resorts? I have never stayed at the beach club but I have stayed at the grand floridian.

GF would be good for the Halloween party especially so you can change into costume comfortably.

But Beach Club will help greatly with Food and Wine crowds.

Both offer winning options. It just depends which one you value more, and if you want to try something new or stick to the favorite.

We too are trying BCV for the first time in mid September. We chose it because of its proximity to two parks and we get to check off a DVC resort. I also hear its pool is pretty awesome.

Like @belledream said it depends on what you value and what's more important to you. Logistically speaking, you're likely going to go to the party once where you may attend F&W a few times, so it may make more sense to stay closer to Epcot. Whatever you chose, have a great time!

I have stayed at BC before. It is a nice resort with nice amenities. It would help with Food and Wine crowds, since it has nice access to Epcot. GF is more expensive but has nice proximity to MK, both have intriguing offers, but if you want to save $$ go to BC, if you want to splurge $$$ then go to GF and if you are not on a budget go whichever you like.

I would stick with BC because of the easy walk-in access to F&W. One MNSSHP would not be enough incentive to switch for me. Take the bus to MK.
If you stay at GF, you have to go to the TTC and monorail to Epcot each time you want to go visit F&W. Time wasted.
