September or October? Pros & Cons

Hi all! I was wondering if I could get some advice on the months of September and October at WDW. Which would be better suited for my solo trip? I know that I will be able to attend MNSSHP and the Food and Wine Festival both at the end of Sept. and in Oct., but what would be better in terms of weather, crowds, and value??

Generally, September is more unsettled weather wise. It also tends to be just about as hot and humid as the summer. After the holiday weekend, crowds tend to be fairly low....lower than most of October.

Chances of severe weather in October are generally less. Temperatures tend to be a bit lower with lower humidity, particularly in the second half of the month. Columbus Day weekend and Halloween cause attendance spikes, but otherwise very moderate.

My preference, October (bet you could have guessed)

It's a mix...
Depending on when you go, What you do..Yadda yadda yadda..etc..It may be busier at MK when it's less busy at Epcot...World Showcase is going to be a bit busy for F&W so the walkways will be a bit crowded..But, attraction times aren't bad..Here's what the wait times were like at Epcot on Oct 4th 2008

Weather is about mid 80's
Best place to stay...Pop Century
