September can't get here soon enough PTR!!!!!

ADR's are made. Sort of feeling a little slump on pre-trip planning excitement. We have had sickness running rampant in our house so my nerves are shot and I am exhausted. I know this is the monster sucking the joy out of my planning craziness.

So, here we go....

Leave home the morning of September 14th for the drive down. Will make it to New Port Richey, FL where we have Aunts and Uncles who want to see their Great Niece that evening and will get a hotel.

On the morning of the 15th we will make the 2 hour or so drive over to Orlando and hopefully will get to check in to our room early. Knowing my husband and I, we will leave around 6:30 or 7am so will make it to the Contemporary to drop off bags and pick up KTTK or bands. We will meet up with my parents here, since they are arriving on the 11th and staying at the Contemporary as well. Our plan is to head over to AK as soon as we can and get in what we can there. Must dos are Safari, Lion King Show, Nemo Show, Expedition Everest for my hubby and I and the parade. I'm sure we will pick up lunch...thinking Flame Tree since we have never tried it but a little leary since we come from the land of BBQ and we are all picky about the kind of BBQ we like. Imagine we will leave AK after the parade and head back to the Contemporary for some pool time. Up to our room to get ready for the Pirates and Pals cruise at 7:45.

September 16th (BIRTHDAY TIME FOR MY PRINCESS)-leave for breakfast at Akershus (8:10) and relax and enjoy (pray for some pixie dust that Mulan will be there!). When done with breakfast will hop on monorail and head over to MK. I have scheduled a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique appointment for 10:55 that morning so will do that after we arrive at MK. Will then head to check out the line at BOG and decide if we want to eat (AGAIN) or wait until later and risk a longer line. Explore as much of MK as we can, concentrating on new FantasyLand and Tommorowland since we didn't really get to do that area of the park on our last visit. That evening head back to the Contemporary where we will do cake and gifts in our room. Working with Chef Brian on the cake and hoping it will be AMAZING!

September 17th (Birthday for my Hubby this time)-Breakfast at Contemporary QS and then off for EMH at Epcot! Will get all the non-World showcase stuff done early and go over to the Character Spot and do the meet and greet with Mickey and the Gang. When the World Showcase opens, a little country hopping to meet with EVERY SINGLE PRINCESS possible. This makes my daughter super happy and allows the adults time to relax and enjoy Epcot (I plan on sipping a few cocktails this day). Makes for a great day! Will eat lunch at Chefs de France and a later dinner at Biergarten (Hubby's pick). Enjoy Illuminations and hop back on the monorail to sleep!

September 18th: Breakfast at Chef Mickey's (8:05) and then head over to HS for the Beauty and the Beast Show and whatever else we can pack in (Meet Buzz N Woody, Ariel's show, Star Wars, TOT). Stay until parade if there is one (:(). Head over to DTD for shopping and dinner at Raglan Road (6pm). Supposed to get a table in the middle for the show! Hoping I will still have room for some Ghiradelli!

September 19th: Check out of hotel and say goodbyes to my Mom and Dad who fly out that morning.Last park day. Will probably go back to MK or where ever we feel we missed out on stuff. Imagine that will include another DTD shopping excursion and if I didn't get my Ghiradelli in I will do it on the way out. Leave and head out for home. Not sure what time this will be. If it was up to me it would be like midnight that way my daughter and myself could sleep all the way home.

Feel free to leave comments or suggestions!

Oh, and if Mulan isn't at Akershus, we met her in China last year!! I think her times are posted there so be sure to check it out if you don't see her at Akershus
Thanks! and definitely post a pic of your Mom's cake! My mom's birthday is on the 12th, my daughter's on the 16th and my husband's on the 21st. I want to do cakes for all of them but just not in the budget. So the baby girl gets the cake! I will probably order a chocolate slipper for my Mom and something for my hubby.

See?? your wdwmagic bros and sis are here for ya!!! Smile... you'll be there two months before I am!! LOL Start planning all of the small things now to keep you in the mood (what to wear, must do experiences, cocktails to try, etc) Plan right down to your shoes!!! Think of what to eat from Karmel Kuche, which french pastries you will be enjoying from Boulangerie Patisserie, to taking pics of you holding a slushie from France for @figmentfan423 and holding a Lapu Lapu for me!!!! :)

My daughter and I have both come down with a horrible virus. She started a week ago with a sore throat, then chills and head cold symptoms. I came down with it on Sunday, and can I tell you I have not been knocked so hard on my butt in a long time. Feeling somewhat better this afternoon. Still very little energy though.

Yes, m'am! Just thankful it is our spring break this week and I don't have to stress over whether to send her or keep her home and worry about driving her to and from. Just stay in bed and sleep.

I was wondering if it was the same virus that our kiddos had the other week, but ours wound up being something that only impacts kids. Hoping you're feeling better.

The trip plans also sound great! I can't wait to see your cakes and if we wind up on an earlier flight, we may even cross paths since we're checking into the Contemporary on the 19th. I do hate that post 180 day slump though... it may be why I often continue to play around with my ADRs online well after the 180 mark.

That would be awesome if we crossed paths that day! I wound up going to the doctor yesterday. Horrible sinus infection that backed up so bad it gave me conjunctivitis in both eyes (pink eye). Feeling a little better now that I have had 3 doses of pretty high octane meds. They gave me medicine that they give to people who go to Malaria ridden countries. It's been making me puke but helping so I will take it. Ugh. :)

That sounds AWFUL! At least you're on meds...even if they're strong ones (with nasty side effects:( ). I've been having sinus issues from all of the oak pollen here, but nothing quite like this. WOW! Whatever our girls had came with a sore throat, 5 days of really high fevers (my older one has decided that tepid water baths for added fever reduction is some form of child abuse ) , stomach issues, potential eye issues, lots of congestion, and my younger one wound up with an ear infection. I guess at least the dr ruled out strep. Big fun!

Much of our arrival will depend on flight prices, budget, and everyone's anticipated tolerance levels. Ultimately, I'm hoping we can get in on a deal for an earlier flight b/c I hate the idea of arriving at 11pm. We shall see!

My daughter has been fighting something on and off since before valentine's day. Been really sickly around here. This last time she started off with sore throat and ear aches, then started chilling so bad and her hands and her feet were like popsicles, but no fever. Very odd. She then had an allergic reaction to the medicine they gave her so I finally got them to give her something new yesterday. Exhausting. I hope the girls are doing better. Know it is so rough when they are sick. Breaks a Momma's heart and wears on her nerves something awful.

Sounds like an awesome game plan! Two birthdays in one trip..I hope your little one is feeling better. I know how horrible it is when your love is sick....Can't wait to hear all about it when you return.

And it will be here before you know it.
