September 2017- Planning & Questions about Golf Courses

Trying to plan for our second vacation to WDW together.

We're hoping to do 5 full days, but want the park to not have a lot of crowds.

When's the best time to go in September?

Bonus question: Anybody ever go to the golf courses at WDW? Are they open September? Are they worth it?

All of September is generally "slow" for WDW and Orlando area. However, the first week is still summer for some schools and the last week is sometimes the first major break for schools that go back earlier, usually making the two weeks in the middle the slowest. Id say from the 10th-23rd or so.
