Yay! Can't believe it. I was pregnant when we started planning this trip, and now she's 14 months old! So that tells you how long we've been waiting!!!

Just got to 25 days today! Driving down in 24! This final month of waiting is already killer, but it'll be worth it.

15 days until departure, and 16 days until we are there. We are going to be doing the single digit dance real soon!

It's like the night before Christmas when you were little,except it is just like that every single day when you hit your month. Even with kids going back to school it feels like time is dragging its butt....

Happy Birthday to those lucky enough to be celebrating! That's what our trip is for...to celebrate my Mom's 60th!

Crossing things off my to do list left and right: adding money to my sunpass, buying gift cards, cashing in our jar of pocket chage, etc. Been packed for weeks!!

Definitely stop at dollar tree and grab a couple of ponchos. We are here now, and we're in that summer weather pattern where it is almost guaranteed to rain every afternoon. (Perfect time to take an afternoon nap and recharge for the evening.)

Today the holiday was kind of weird - seemed a little busier than usual this morning - but fizzled out by afternoon. Tonight was not real busy.

A Little drizzle here and there, but never had to break out the ponchos. semi-cloudy all day kept the temperatures down.
