Hope she has a wonderful birthday too. My grandmother came up with this 'math formula' for the women in our family...none of us are ever over 9...add your digits...so your mom with be 5 this year...5 + 9 is 14...1 + 4...5...so we disregard the year...it will be her 5th birthday and she's celebrating at WDW...how perfect!!!

She will. I got a couple of good surprises planned and she hasn't been back to Disney for a while... so it will be super for her. And Congrats on your 50th. What a way to remember the milestone by being at Disney. I'm planning on being in EP on 12th, MK & DHS on 13th, AK on 14th, DHS on 15th if you are interested in saying hi.

We'll be at MK and DHS on the 13th and AK on the 14th...so we can probably meet up...
I think quite a few of us WDWMagicers will be at DHS on the 13th--we should try to arrange something!

Sounds like a plan...we're doing the KTTK tour at MK on the 13th
My birthday's actually in July (two weeks from today, as a matter of fact!), I'm just doing a lot of celebrating of it.
I'm headed to Ireland next week to have my official party with my whole family, and I'm going on the Unofficial WDWMagic Girls' Cruise on the Disney Dream with some of the lovely ladies from around here! A bunch of us are spending a couple of days at WDW afterwards.You only turn 50 once, right? LOL

Ireland is someplace I'd like visit one day. Hope you have a great 5-0 there. Your birthday is the same date as my grandparent's 71st wedding anniversary. (They're both still alive...93 & 97 years old, respectively.)

Just did the math and figured out that (assuming your grandmother is the 93 year-old) I got married at the same age, 22. Hope I make it to my 71st anniversary!

Yes, it's my grandmother who is 93; I too got married at 22...April 2014 will be 28 years...not even halfway there.

Just changed our reservations from AKL to Port Orleans River with the dining plan 9/13-9/20. Decided to do it because we haven't actually ever visited there. Still hitting MNSSHP on 9/17.

After the year I had at work, my WDW trip cannot come soon enough. Just thought I would throw that out there.
Man, I can't wait for that moment when I step onto Disney property.
