Sept. Package Coming?

I want to book for mid-September. The only package available for that time now is the Memory Maker. I have booked most of my recent trips with the Magic Your Way package. Does that (or a package like it) ever open up for that time of year? If so, when will I likely see it? I don't mind booking now and getting refund/credit later, but I don't want to lose out by acting too early. What do you experts suggest?

We have been twice around that time (Oct & Sept) and both times they had packages going on. We did the free dinning one year at POR :) and stayed off property the other :( I would imagine they would have something that time of the year this year. I would book now and just change it if they do offer one. It's a simple phone call to alter your reservation no need to cancel or refund anything. Any changes in price wiyll be credited to you, easy peasy! The folks at Disney are a pleasure to deal with over the phone while doing this.

Also if you are going that time of the year you HAVE to go to the NSSHP (Not So Scary Halloween Party) at MK, it's AWESOME!!! It's Magical with a capital M! Man I miss it, but the kids and school band that time of the year keep us from going anymore to it. But one day I shall return!

There actually already is a discount out for September right now- it includes a decent room discount, PLUS the free Memory Maker. There seems to be a lot of confusion with that- many people think it's just the free Memory Maker.

Magic Your Way packages is the term for all packages booked, either at full price or at a discount. From there you can add on a dining package. ("magic your way plus dining", for example).

You can always book with the current promo, and if something better does happen to be released, compare it to what you already have and take the better option. If you're set on September, I would go ahead and book with this discount though, just in case no other discounts become available! Disney has done a few surprising things with discounts and release dates this year, so it's hard to tell exactly what's coming. Hope that helps @Steveromo !

I hope so... would come in handy for my October trip. But I'm getting weary after they only offered it as a bounceback for September 2014 only.

Yeah but it was like that last year too for 2013. We have the bounceback booked already, but I'd bet my paycheck that FD is coming back. That's a bold statement since I'm known to be quite the miser!

Where are you getting these PIN codes from? I never get anything like that and I have been going in Sept/Oct for the past 5 years only booking after they release the free dining offer. Thanks!

The best way to try and get a PIN code is to make sure Disney has your information- they seem to be sent randomly, or to whatever market or demographic Disney is targeting at a specific time. Sometimes it is repeat guests. Just sign up for anything you can think of- request a free planning DVD, sign up for any newsletters you can find, make sure you're registered for My Disney Experience, maybe even Disneyshopping.com.

I had been lucky and had received PIN codes several years in a row- but I don't have one right now! I received one in late fall that was good for various dates through the winter and early spring.
