Hi well when we go in September I was going to book a Segway tour either at EPCOT or Disney Wilderness Lodge if any of you have been on one which is best I'm not bothered about the price difference just the which is more fun :) and if they do it in september ?

Thank you !!!! :)

I set this up for my husband and his dad for father's day in Epcot last year. Since they only did that one I can't give you a comparison, but they really enjoyed it.

I've done the Epcot tour twice, it's awesome. The Fort Wilderness version peaked my interest until I searched for it on YouTube. I watched some vids and it's looks dull compared to Epcot...

are they hard to ride (balance on)? Would love to do it but worried about paying the money and then not being able to stay on it. Are they pretty stable?

When we were in Epcot last fall in Inovations West there was like a mini-tour or trial run on them. It was all of about 5 minutes but they are really quite easy to run and you get the hang of it really quick. Kind of a "sampling" to promote the tours, which is a great idea because I had the same kind of concerns you expressed. I don't think a full tour is in the cards for this trip but maybe the next one.

They're very easy to ride, just like an extension of your body. And if after the training period you don't feel comfortable on them, Disney will refund some of your money if you don't want to continue with the tour.

I rode the segway in Savannah, GA. It is all about balance. I moved my foot because it hurt so bad. It caused the segway to lose balance and I fell. I was ok because I had on a helmet. My friend fell twice, but she was ok. It was fun. Of course, I was very cautious after falling. I would probably do it again, but not for 2 hours like we did. The 2 young people in our group also said how their feet were hurting also.
