See Ya Real Soon? It would be sooner with a PIN!

I was SO excited when I came home from work today. There was a fancy orange envelope with "Disney Destinations" as the return address and the words "See Ya Real Soon" in the Disney font across the envelope. I thought it was a PIN code for sure! When I opened it up, it was a "Thank You" for our recent visit - a card signed by some of the characters and a quick note about making magical memories on our trip...but no code!! Although it was a sweet gesture, I was a bit disappointed. I got a "thank you" email last week as well and got all excited seeing the email from Disney Destinations. I am hoping the third times the charm!! :lol:

Has anyone else gotten this in the mail?

First day was 11/12 and got it today (12/7). Part of me was hoping my hubby snagged the pin part and was booking a super secret surprise trip but I don't think he's that slick.

We got one too, first time ever getting a thank you for visiting! I thought it was a PIN code too! However a couple of weeks later we did get a PIN code for Febuary only, book by December 14th. I am giving it serious consideration cause I need another get away and I want to escape Indy during the super bowl weekend. Keep looking, maybe you will get another PIN code soon!

I hope the constant discounts and expected discounts don't make Disney eventually fall from being a premium brand. The perception of great value from a discounted trip is quickly reversed by the realization that this was the normal price less than 3 years ago. Sure hope the bean counters are fiddling with that business model for 2013 and onwards ..
