Well, as most of you know, I'm pretty poor. I've been looking for a job for a few weeks now and tonight while i was on Monster.com i saw an ad for secret shoppers. How could it get any better for me?? I mean shopping for money!! woopiee

then i got to the bottom and they want a "low one time fee of 24.95" which is backed by a 30 day money back satisfaction gaurentee...

Why in the world would I want to PAY to get a job?? Doesnt it sound strange to have to pay money to get employed?? I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of this...or these people.. SPN (Shopping Providers Network)
do they sound safe? :lookaroun

My initial thoughts are that you probably aren't going to be working for the people that are charging the fee. This may be a commission or finders fee for sending you to the employer.

What are you going to be shopping for...and for whom?
How will you get paid? Do you need your own car? There are a ton of questions that need to be answered before you send any money.

Our local outlet mall have their own secret shoppers. They go from store to store in the complex testing the knowledge & friendliness of the clerks & owners. I earned a 5 star rating for the store I worked for. :D I spent an hour with a customer looking up books, explaining things & kept smiling the whole time.(he didn't buy anything by the way). The next day I got a raise. :sohappy:

I would contact the HR department of the local mall & see if they have a similar program. Good luck.
