The sad part about all this, though, is that I do almost nothing for the site, and Gregory does tons of contributions (see: avatars), and we're tied for rep boxes.
Gregory deserves it a heck of a lot more.
... I smell a rep-a-thon!

Personally, I think this whole rep thing should go away. Only a handful of folks use it the correct way which basically means that you could have 20 green boxes and it doesn't mean squat. After you've been here awhile you will know who is reputable and who is not, no matter how many red or green boxes they have.

Just my opinion.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the highest you can get is 5 dark greens and one light green...

But the reputation system isn't needed. I think we all know which members here are respectable, and which aren't. So yeah, I agree with you Ace!

I know I'm not really respectable on the boards (contribution-wise), so, yeah, I agree that the rep points should be taken off, and maybe there could be some other system for someone who deserves it. I'm not saying that people with high rep (see: Grizz) shouldn't be respected, I'm just saying there could be some other way to do it.

To summarize, I do agree with ACE and FamilyMan. Nevertheless, let me reiterate (sp?) that I thank everyone on the boards for helping me get this far, contributions or not.
