Seaworld Rape Arrest

A man was arrested for raping a toddler at Seaworld in Orlando last week. The crime was discovered when they found images of the rape on his cell phone. He even uploaded the photos to his personal Yahoo page. This is a very sick person and my prayers are with the family of the little girl and the little girl herself. I would never wish something like this to happen even to my worst enemy.

Exactly. The man was a "friend" who was touring Sea World with them. They left their child with him while they went on an attraction.

Just as in the WDW rape case, there is no danger to the average guest from an employee, but rather a case of misjudgment on the part of a parent. Although in this case, it could have happened to any one of us who have ever trusted someone else to watch our children. Unless it comes out that there were warning signs about the friend's character, they aren't any more at fault than if their child had been molested by a babysitter, teacher, neighbor, relative, etc.

But that probably wouldn't stop me from blaming myself if it were my child.

That is probably the saddest part of all to me. Along with the innocence of the child robbed and possible emotional distress of all sorts in the future for the child...
you have the guilt those parents are going to face for possibly forever.
