Hi all,

My group and I return to Florida in 2 weeks time and after the amazing time we had in Seaworld in April 2006 we are making a return journey there.
As we are going in July this time, we will be able to experience Seaworld after dark and we are looking for any advice people can give who have done it before. Further we have some specific questions;

1. What are the crowd levels like compared to during the day?
2. What are the show duration times for Shamu Rocks and Sealions Tonite?
3. Where's the best place to take in Mistify?

We have noticed the Show schedule is now available on the official website so any suggestions for evening route plans are welcome!

Thanks in advance

I don't think you'll see a huge change in crowd levels duing the evening / night compared to during the day. Sure, some folk with youngsters will leave prior to the final Shamu show and Mystify - but don't expect to have the park to yourselves !!!!

1. Crowd level?

Stadiums usually fill to maximum for the Sea Lion Tonight Show. Arrive early- you will love the show. Keeps you laughing as they make fun of the park.

You will generally walk in mass from the SLT show over to the Stadium for Shamu Rocks. People will be turned away from Shamu Rocks. It is a fun show, though.

Then you will walk in mass to get a spot for Mystify.
3, I am not sure where the best spot to watch it from is. We generally stop around the patio area of the Spice Mill restaurant but if you are too far back you don't see much. I am not a Mystify fan. Any of the fireworks/night shows
at Disney make Mystify look like a back yard production. If there is a wind-forget itbecause the pictures won't show up on the water screens.

We haven't been to the new night ski show so don't know how that impacts the timing and plans for shows.

2. Duration times for the shows have been between 20-30 minutes in the past so assume they will be the same this year.

Sea Lions Tonight, around 25 min...

They also have a ski show at night in the stadium

My schedual worked from the only Sea Lions Tonight show, to ski, to shamu... not really watching Mistify (I dont like it much)...

The day is not too crowded... kraken would have a 40 min wait probably though.

My sons skip Mysify and usually walk on Kracken in the last half hour the park is open- usually can go several times.

If there is a longer than normal storm that day, expect the evening crowds to be lighter. But, to repeat what others have said, the Clyde and Seamore evening show will fill up, so do get there early. If you see the park is dead, no need to get to Shamu really early. It just depends on the levels that night and the success you've had at shows later in the day.

Don't forget to stop by the beer house and get your free brew!
