She just wants to be held. As soon as I put her down it starts again. She's just been changed, and she ate not too long ago. She just wants cuddles. (But I want breakfast!)

Like I said before, I'm trying to get pics of her with all her gifts...

This one's for Steph -

I've been trying to see if we can squeeze in a weekend to WDW in early December, but it doesn't look possible...:(

Stupid real life!!!!
I think I'm going to see about squeezing in a weekend trip at some point. Since we now have those one day tickets and they'll expire next Sept. Might as well go down...with WHF working for a hotel, all we'd need is airfare and probably then a rental car.

Just try explaining it to someone who doesn't know though.....

I know I just tried to explain it to my co=worker. She said I am obsessed with Disney and I said yes. She just looked at me weird.:lookaroun:cry: It hurt and I didn't know what to do. So I  when I got home.

I think that's true for a lot of us. My husband, kids, job, etc. all fulfill me in different ways. I have a handful of close girlfriends who I see far too infrequently for my liking, especially now that we're all juggling work and kids.

Never in a million years did I imagine "meeting" a bunch of crazy broads on a Disney chat site, and ending up having a blast and loving evey day of it! Nor could I imagine how much of an impact people you've never met can have in your every day life... I look forward to coming here and things like "the singing episode" bring much needed levity to my sometimes too stressed out life!!
I couldn't have said it any better Kristin! :D

Sounds easy enough. Hello Nibbs.

aw...poor Susan.

I know...it is wierd to talk about this with people who don't understand. I think my best friends think I'm nuts about Disney, so I don't talk about it too much. I also don't mention you guys to them. Only on brief moments...but they don't really know how much time I spend here on an average work day. (I think if I didn't have you guys to talk to while I was at work, I'd go crazy. Just editing pics and doing orders all day would get awfully boring...but I break it up with talks with you all. I don't know what would happen if I "got a real job" and didn't get to do this all the time. I think I'd go through withdrawl!) :lookaroun

Hi Susan.

It sounds easy...we'll see if it actually is easy. Maybe we'll talk about paying for it for Christmas. Not going during Christmas, b/c I think that would be too soon right now, but, maybe instead of buying Christmas presents again, we'll pay for that.

I have been trying to figure out how to ask for prayer at the church I work for for Corrus. He is a friend(even though I don't know him very much).

Also when I go to the eye doctor and he asks me how much time do I spend on the computer. I fudge and say one to two hours a day, even though it is more like, oh I don't know most likely most of the day.:o

oh, my eye dr. doesn't ask that. Although I can get away with it b/c I work on the computer.

And the dr wouldn't think any less of you if you told the truth.

Question: Why is it that some people think they should just get something for nothing?

We have underclass photos at 3 different high schools. If a person doesn't like their photo for any reason (including this person's complaint, their son had soccer practice and looked like it, I haven't seen the picture, so I don't know) that isn't a technical failure, they have to pay a $7 retake fee. It's not a lot of money, it just covers the cost of reprint the photos and pays for the photographer's time of having to go to the school again. So why do people think it's rediculous to pay it? If it's your fault that you didn't look your best, it's not our fault.

It's like the saying, we can pose it and light it, but we can't be in it.

I guess I'm just a little more easy going, but I think people forget (same as they do with Disney) that this is a business...we are in this to make money too...not just give you something for nothing b/c you think you deserve it.

It just frustrates me how money driven (or money poor) some people are. I'm money driven (or sometimes money poor) too...but I never try to get out of paying for something just b/c things are tight. I buck it up and pay the money. WHF just got his truck fixed, it was a pretty penny. Did I argue with the mechanic who did the work that that was too much money for our family to pay? Nope...I paid it. As would most other people. So what makes our business so different that they think that we should give them something for nothing?

I really just don't undersand...and I guess I don't even need an answer, it's just something that bothers me...and it will be bothering me a lot more once we move our studio to our other location, where people are constantly trying to get something for nothing.
